  1. Skole and Polka lol no room at the inn.
  2. Maybe too soon to be anything about Vaughn yet many have high expectations. The draft year is always a strange ride. Give him another season before you keep a spot open for him.
  3. I do not think the Nats lineup quite compares with Houston.
  4. We just lost three of our cleanup hitters lol.
  5. The guy must have made billions.
  6. Because they never have enough pitching along with the recent run of injuries. Nova is the bird in hand.
  7. Kopech has been chomping at the bit to pitch and will be more than ready. Nova is almost as important because he is an IP horse. There are other challenging issues to address. One of them is pitching depth with the rest of the staff. If they can sign a quality SP it would be a big plus on a team that seems to run out of pitchers. Lopez Gio and Cease with one more young guy thrown in to the mix would look pretty good to round things out. Rodon I am not counting on for much.
  8. At least Ross actually wants to manage. Never mind the dick bumps.
  9. The Nats seem to feel their old school system of scouting beats modern analytics. Sounds a little close-minded and premature.
  10. Avi did a lot better than the stiffs we used in his place at least in 2019. Who knows the future.
  11. They used to talk gm or ownership group for lil Stevie. Maybe he had a good agent like Don King. I have always found him a tad smug.
  12. I misspoke, slip of the tongue.
  13. Abreu is a special circumstance and not just market forces. The owner says to pay the man so you pay him.
  14. It's either Sox radio or cactus shuffleboard. Wife doesn't want him sitting around the house.
  15. Only with a guy rotating three spots as 26th man. Rosters should be 28.
  16. I would definitely keep Nova for the innings. We ran out of pitchers and he did ok overall. Sox recent injury history not favorable.
  17. Moustakas an outstanding depth piece and why not compete with Madgical for PT at 2B.
  18. Wow Josh Allen is actually slowly surely coming around while Mitch has already peaked. Maybe the Astros could salvage his career.
  19. Lopez always serves up a couple of fat ones and it depends on how many baserunners are waiting to score. Solo shots we can live with.
  20. Is Bumgarner still a good thing. Maybe a visit from Kate Upton would turn back the clock.
  21. We could be waiting for the other shoe to drop on the matter of teams prescribing opioids to their players. It could be fairly common.
  22. Nats get some return on their Adam Eaton investment up 2-0 with home games coming up.
  23. TMZ reports staffer Eric Kay was supplying opioids to Skaggs for two years and he claims five other players were using. Uh-oh. I do not believe others are responsible for what an adult puts in their body but the team could have some exposure.
  24. We have no idea what Rodon is able to do in 2020. You can't really count on his performance. My guess is a half-season of a #3 starter but he could still have shoulder issues.
  25. Insurance is a major cost of big contracts.
