KC wins 7-3.

KC leading the Twins 7-3 heading to the 9th. Any loss by the Twins during this 18 game stretch of playing Oak, Det, and KC is a plus for the Sox. Something to keep in mind is the Twins have a much more difficult schedule the second half of the season compared to the Sox. Also the Sox and Twins still have 16 games left against each other.

They will be battling for the last WC position. I honestly have no idea if they make it. The DFA of Keuchel was a good start as far as moves they need to make. They still need to pick up a solid 2B and another bullpen arm.

How are these professional athletes who supposedly have the best training and training staffs constantly getting these type of injuries? Kelly was just throwing a pitch and he strains a hamstring. Are they not stretching enough? Are they lifting too many weights or not enough ? It is like professional baseball players are made of glass now.
