I agree with everything except wait till the deadline when some contender will basically give you everything you ask and more for him.

Why is it insane? How else are you going to fill the holes this team has at 2B and in the OF and at C. You have to trade quality to get it. And if the Sox are out of the race come the deadline they have to sell. Some contending team will be desperate for a quality starting pitcher and the Sox could get back a lot. He is going to be a FA anyway and JR isn't going to pay him.

Problem is I don't trust Hahn to get the return for Gio that would be needed but you have to try to move him if your selling.

If the Sox are sellers at the trade deadline Gio has to be the first one you move.

Pitches are piling up for Gio. At 80.

This is how this team is going to have to do it this year, battle for everything.

Vaughn is looking like he could be along with TA the second professional hitter on this team.

Need to trade him while some other teams still think he is.

It is beyond pathetic to think that you have to hold the Jays to 3 or less to have a chance.

Give Vaughn 1B and get the hell out of his way!

Cut Moncada some slack. He has been in a lot of videos lately dancing with the hotties and he is just plain worn down. I do wonder though how he can dance so much and have no leg issues but when he runs out routine grounders he looks like he has the legs of a 80 yr old.

Until there is new ownership nothing is going to change with the Sox. For cripes sake JR hired a nearly 80 yr old man with a drinking problem to manage the team. No one could believe it at the time and I'm guessing 95% of us knew it was a huge mistake. And then going in to this season the FO knew this team needed a quality 2B and RF. So they do nothing at 2B and bring in a 34 yr old Pollock for RF. So now they are playing a 34 yr old washed up journey man 2B and a washed up 34 yr old right fielder/left fielder. At this point the untouchables are TA, Robert, Vaughn, Kopech, and Cease. I probably keep Engel as well. He is only 30 and is a very good 4th outfielder to hold on to. Also I would give Burger a lot of at bats the rest of this season and find out if he is a legit big league hitter or not. He is only 26 and if he is legit you can get rid of Moncada.

TLR is never getting fired. For cripes sake JR brought him back because he felt so bad that he was fired the first time. The only way he ever leaves will be if he decides to on his own.

Well by July 1 we will know if it's sell or buy for this team. If it is sell I'm making everyone available except TA, Robert, Vaughn, Cease, Gio, Hendricks and Kopech.

Every mistake is magnified x100 because this team can't score.

Cease hurt himself with the walks. Still he pitched a really good game. Will take 1 run in 7 innings every single time.

Game over.

This season rates right up there as the most frustrating/disappointing I can remember. The injuries, the lack of hitting by nearly everyone, every last thing that could go wrong has gone wrong.

And now Harrison just bought another month being on the team. Probably the new lead off man.

This team will be out of the playoff race by July 1st. Two of the three WC spots will come from the East and the third from the West.

All these leg injuries have to mean something lacking in the strength & conditioning or is it just bad luck?
