  1. Venable absolutely must get Meidroth out of he middle of the order. He is not an RBI guy. I’d play Grichuk vs both lefties and righties and put him 5th.
  2. Rocks walk rate is awful. Why the hell is he still in there with the based loaded.
  3. I’ve said this several times, Meidroth is a top of the order or bottom of the order hitter. Not good in RBI situations.
  4. Big mistake not pinch hitting Grichuk.
  5. The reality is that if Ramirez and Martinez had been playing this series, the Sox would be on there way to being swept.
  6. Braeden didn’t swing at any of the strikes.
  7. Precisely why Meidroth can’t be hitting there. He is not a run producer.
  8. I do not understand putting Meidroth in an RBI position. He is not good with RISP.
  9. A battle of bullpens does not favor the Sox!
  10. They lose this game they will get swept!
  11. Gonna be tough to score tonight!
  12. Tigers have already knocked Garret Cole out of the game. Up 5-1 on the Yankees! looks like the Sox gave Detroit the momentum they needed.
  13. I’m a little concerned about this series. Sox struggle against good starting pitching, and the Guardians strength is their starting pitching, as well as their bullpen.
  14. One thing that baffles me about Venables is batting Meidroth 5th or even 4th. I like the guy, but his .212 batting average with RISP tells me he is not an RBI guy and has no business batting in the heart of the order.
  15. Won’t get easier against Cleveland pitching.
  16. Sox breathing life back into the Tiger’s season! Hope they appreciate it!
  17. Why is Rock still in there?
  18. It would be just like the Sox to sweep them at the Rate, then get swept in Detroit.
  19. Why was there not a righty to come in for Dingler?
  20. Glad to be wrong, but he does have a 20% walk rate!
  21. He only had 42 pitches with his most this year at 52.
