4/4 GT- 7:37 CT- Sox vs Halos
If I'm Keuchel, I'd be walking backwards into the bushes like Homer Simpson. He's the last guy who should be talking after the playoffs and his outing Friday.

Cliche with no substance

He's trying to buy multiple innings from guys because he's getting no length from the starting pitchers. I don't blame LaRussa for any of these losses.

Foster shaking his arm a lot, this bullpen is taxed.

$17-$18 million investment parked in the garage. Money well spent.

You missed the point. It shouldn't have to come down to Collins. Abreu, Grandal, Moncada, Robert, Anderson all need to get their heads out of their asses and carry this offense so it doesn't come down to the back up catcher to save us.

If we're breaking shit over Collins not hitting in the 9th in games, we're gonna lose 100 games.

Maybe the AL and NL Centrals suck. Fools gold last year.

22 pitch inning almost cancels Bummer out for tomorrow. There is just no efficiency by either the Starters or Bullpen so far.

Pure laziness by ESPN.

Bummer doesn't look right.

I rather the Sox play better and win games. Much more than having mental masturbation over proving Steve Stone wrong.

What we learned from Opening Day
Defense on Catcher has a lot to do more of than just framing. He's average to bad in everything outside of framing (which we'll give to him based on "the computer").

What we learned from Opening Day
I didn't learn this, but I was sadly reminded of the stiff Grandal is on defense behind the dish. He lost a lot of strikes last night not only to a blind umpire but his exaggerated set up on the RH Batter's Box. Saw a lot of that last season. While "the computer" keeps calling him a great framer, please stop stealing strikes away from your pitchers by giving away the other corner.

Or name recognition. Beckham and Fulmer had their names plastered throughout every CWS game, it feels. Then trash at this level.

The troubling part about Madrigal to me is that there is just not one single thing about baseball that looks easy to him. None. It looks like he struggles to run for his size. Has a terrible batting stand and swing to go with it. Throws awful. Pop ups feel adventurous like the one tonight. Makes dumb decisions. WTF did every scout see here?

Gotta field your position. He got that rally started by botching the comebacker.

Ranking the bad: 1) Madrigal 2) Grandal 3) HP Umpire 4) LaRussa 5) Bummer

2006 for me. I don't think anyone expected 2005 to happen the way it did. But 2006, I felt we had the best team going in on paper.

White Sox were expected to sign Juan Soto
You literally inferred that they lost the guy for being cheap. There was never a negotiation.

Yay, another "Jerry is Cheap" thread!!! Yawn.

ELOY HURT! (3/25 Update: Torn Pectoral Tendon, Out 5-6 months))
Not for 5 months. Short term would have been fine, but not for the entire season. They'll need to make a move for a legit everyday bat who can give them at least .780 OPS from that position.

You're not a pro athlete. That's where you should have stopped typing.
