  1. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 04:57 AM) I drank from the Calder Cup. The end. Little-known fact: it's considered VERY bad luck to ever clean the inside of the Calder Cup.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 10:32 PM) Wolves win 4-2. :headbang Jason Krog is The Man!!!!
  3. Anyone planning on attending TNA's "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View on Sunday, October 12th at the Sears Centre? I work Sunday nights, and to be honest I don't think TNA's worth burning a vacation day for. If you're interested, though, tickets go on sale on August 1st.
  4. QUOTE (Shadows @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 08:36 PM) Am I the only one who still thinks a Mae Young bit is hilarious? She's a great sport. Willing to do anything Vince asks her to. She gave birth to a HAND, for Christ's sake. She seemed to be diggin' climbing all over Charlie Haas.
  5. Mickie's getting a bit of a belly. Cena's making her soft.
  6. Sounded like a 5-5-5 in that number as well. Hmmmm......
  7. Well, this Million Dollar contest is off to a bulls***ty start.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:00 PM) Who wrote this "Ring of Hell" book? If nobody reputable, I would take a lot of it with a grain of salt. Oh my God! People backstage sleeping with each other? Shocking!!! Same thing happened of camera on the Brady Bunch. It's written by Matthew Randazzo V. http://www.matthewrandazzo.com He's represented by the Andrew Lownie Literary Agency (based in England), who describe him as "a novelist and a true-crime writer with expertise in American organized crime and political corruption". Nothing I've seen excerpted seems unbelievable to me, but I'd assume his sources have axes to grind, so the truth is probably exaggerated in at least some cases.
  9. Anyone going to buy the new Ring Of Hell book? It sounds pretty interesting. Here are a couple of LoP articles about some excerpts from the book: http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2008/articles/1213052758.php http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2008/articles/1212990684.php http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2008/articles/1212390541.php "Cat Bath" - oh, Arn, you're such a charmer, LOL.
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 06:27 PM) Everyone enter to win part of the cash? Nah. The microscopic chance of winning isn't worth my being bothered by the thousands of companies Vince will sell my information to in order to pay off the prizes.
  11. Please, Danks Brothers, have a long talk with Joe Crede.
  12. QUOTE (letsgoarow @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 03:07 PM) What was his call? Im at work... After the double play he yelled "GREAT PLAY......BY EVERYBODY!!!" And I kind of hate to bring this up, but I'm curious to see if the local media wet their pants over the Sox' undefeated 7-game homestand the way they did over the Cubs' 7-game undefeated homestand.
  13. Unreal. Taking 4 from that team is just phenomenal.
  14. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. LOL @ Hawk with his trademark Warning Track Aneurysm.
  16. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 01:27 PM) Just like Australia then! Except nothing is upside down and the toilets swirl the right way when you flush them.
  17. Unfortunately I am not at all surprised by that outcome.
  18. So they announced the two trainers for Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling show. Here comes NO surprise at all...... They are....... Brutus Beefcake and Brian Knobbs!!! Also, three more "celebrities" have been announced: Butterbean - has been involved with WWE before Dennis Rodman - has been involved with wCw before Danny Bonaduce - follows video cameras like a moth to a flame This should be "Can't-Watch TV" for sure.
  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3430054 No real details as to how Sid "disrespected teammates and club personnel", but I'm sure details will leak later. Someone will give him a shot for the prorated minimum, for sure, if he is released outright. Maybe someone makes a trade if the price is right.
  20. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) I'm sure he'd get Brutus Beefcake to do it, he's always keeping that clown around. Yeah, him or Brian Knobbs, the greasy blond Nasty Boy.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 12:03 PM) How about the officer who is goofy. Like a Barney Fife type. The guy who played Harvey Wippleman would be perfect - I wonder if he kept in touch with Hasbeen Hogan over the years?
  22. Hello again, friends, it's time for the latest episode of As The Do-Rag Turns!! (aka The Wacky-Ass Hogans) courtesy, as always, of Lords Of Pain: The Associated Press released the following article today: Hulk Hogan's son transferred out of solitary TAMPA, Fla. - Deputies at a west Florida jail have transferred Hulk Hogan's son out of solitary confinement into a communal cell. Seventeen-year-old Nick Bollea is now sharing living space with three other juvenile inmates. He initially was segregated because he is a minor, albeit convicted in adult court. A judge denied a transfer request from his lawyers on Tuesday. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda says housing assignments are routinely reviewed because the jail's population constantly changes. That created an opportunity to house juveniles together. Bollea is serving an eight-month sentence after pleading no contest to causing a crash that seriously injured his friend. AWESOME!!! No TV show worth its own weight in s*** goes anywhere without WACKY NEIGHBORS!!! I hope one of his cellmates is a street-wise tough guy with a surprising heart of gold, one is a nerdy white guy who falls for all the wacky pranks, and one is the brains of the operation who ALMOST busts them out of the joint every week, until their master plan goes hysterically wrong!!! Tune in next time for more......As The Do-Rag Turns!!!
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 10:01 PM) While on the topic, the top 5 NHL jerseys have to be this- Blackhawks, Wings, Bruins, Flames, and Canadiens. The rest of your post, though = Replace the Flames with the Leafs and I'm with you. The rest of your post, though =
  24. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 08:35 PM) Agreed. This is worse than rooting for the Packers as a Bears fan to me. This isn't going to help me around here, but what the hell, I may as well admit it.... ....the Packers are the only NFL team I follow in the least. I married a Packers AND Cubs fan.... My Wings fandom started when I was just a little Critic. I watched the NHL Game of the Week on NBC on Sundays (because BLACKHAWKS HOME GAMES WERE NOT ON TV, DOLLAR BILL!!!!) and the Wings were often on the broadcasts. I was a Gordie Howe fan back then, and later a Mickey Redmond fan, and I absolutely LOVE their white jersey - it's my favorite jersey in all of sports. (I just got one in the mail from IceJerseys.com the other day, in fact - now I have to order a Cup patch for it) I continued to be a fan since then, and the ONLY team I ever want to see them lose to is the Blackhawks.
  25. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 12:51 AM) Wow, congrats to Detroit I guess. But they still suck. Yeah, they suck......champagne out of the Stanley Cup!!! This is like the 2006 Cardinals for me - it's nice when my "other teams" win. Not as nice as a Hawks Cup would feel (not that I'd know what that feels like), but still nice.
