Fergie Jenkins. The guy was FUN to watch when I was a kid. 6 straight 20-win seasons (1967-72), and a 25-win season for Texas two years after that. Bob Gibson was an intimidator, plain and simple. I also enjoyed the guys with the funky deliveries like Pedro Borbon and Juan Marichal. Yeah, I'm an old fart, so what?

I completely forgot Raw was on last night. I actually watched that MTV "Fresh Meat" show with my wife instead. After reading the online recap, I don't feel like I missed a damn thing. Except maybe Carlito - I really like him.

Regarding Soxtalk All I want to say is this: Game threads are teh suck

If the Sox could address a need by dealing him, Freddy is the starter I'd let go of first. The innings piling up, the velocity drop, the HR allowed, the inability to stop opponents' running game....all these things worry me.
