  1. No one. If you're not hitting a 10-25% catch probability, you're not getting a hit, and I'd guess even a lot of the 10-25% balls would be caught by that group. You can shade engel and Dyson towards the corners and shallow because Robert is so damn explosive going back and into the gaps. Take away the entire outfield.
  2. He's also still a very good defender; although his defense won't play up as much in LF because his arm is a noodle.
  3. Yeah, Gore has more raw speed than Dyson but he's not quite as good of a baserunner or base stealer as Dyson.
  4. Jarrod Dyson was the original Terrance Gore; no idea how Sox fans don't remember this. It just turned out that Dyson ended up being a great defender too so he got starting spots as a below average bat.
  5. Read the poor lead scout who signed Gregory Polanco today in the Athletic state that he feels bad because he thinks the Pirates ruined Polanco and destroyed his elite game.
  6. Almost think that would hurt his value if it was, because his value is his ability to get you second base so it's a good thing that's not a post season rule. If he's already there, there's plenty of guys who can go 2nd to home on a good jump. His ability is to get 2nd base for you no matter what. Will never forget the Royals calling up Jarrod to just be a pinch runner and it ended up getting them a huge run.
  7. Yeah, I thought that much because I knew for a fact you cannot trade pool money for the next two classes. I just found it odd it was traded from this years class, when I assumed this years class was already completed.
  8. To put into perspective how good of a baserunner Dyson is; since he entered the league, he is the 4th most valuable baserunner in baseball. Impressive... but even more absurd is that he's the 4th most valuable but he has HALF as many PA's as the guy in 1st and 3rd. He has 600 fewer PA's than Billy Hamilton who ranks second. On a rate basis, Dyson is the 3rd best base runner in baseball in the last 60 years. He's one of the only base runners you'd ever trade for.
  9. One of the best base runners in mlb history. Thats not an exaggeration. Hes a guy that goes and gets you a run late in a playoff game.
  10. You 100% cannot trade dollars for next period or the one following. They had to have traded dollars from the current period that I thought was already over.
  11. You cant trade those dollars which is why none of this makes sense.
  12. I don't think we can. The period already ended. No idea what is happening here.
  13. 1. I dont think you can trade int money so I'm confused. The period already ended. 2. The sox traded for dyson to run bases in the playoffs.
  14. my phone auto correct poor Jarrod to Jered as if he was a weaver. Smh.
  15. I hear you 100%. I do want to clarify that there is nothing political about equality and fairness for all people. Thanks for the response.
  16. All do respect 2k, its the same actors over and over and they're still here. Here's what is so disheartening imo, take it as you wish. The site deletes everything related to the bad post - that means the thoughtful responses and etc that I think the country needs now. By deleting the comments and allowing the poster to remain youre merely promoting his actions while also deleting proof of its existence.. I think tough conversations are important across all walks of life and if we're just going to ignore those and continue to let the hate filled posters spew and then delete those posts without taking action or having any discussion, its really changing nothing. I get that this isn't easy for you and respect your response. Have a good weekend.
  17. I don't think anyone thought Hahn has lost a trade to Theo in their dealings.
  18. They changed this to you cannot trade a guy you drafted now - even as a PTBNL - until after the conclusion of the World Series. So they have fixed the first year player loophole for the most part. Meaning the Sox can't draft anyone from this past draft.
  19. Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked. I think the bad PR is something they may be weary of, but if the team doesn't really like him - and they would know through exit interviews and just day to day interactions with the players - I think they'd be more willing to move on. Trading a guy who opted out may not look great, but if the players aren't on board I would believe they may move him.
