Yes Brinson, but he was with TEX in 2015
  2. It's seriously incredible This is the highlight of the comment section: One big mistake. Giving Rizzo that huge contract even though he hadn’t even played a full season.
  3. I'm surprised we haven't seen an open letter to Rick Hahn a la Al Yellon.

Yeah, I don't know enough about the Rangers affiliates park factors to know what the lines are actually saying, I just thought it was in interesting observation.

They do have eerily similar age 21 seasons lol. Robert will finish with 4 or 5 more homers and a bunch more steals over the same 100 games.

I think he just chose a weird way to say Robert has flaws that are covered by being too talented for his level. Also Brinson has elite speed too.
  7. He also has, in theory, a lot fewer questions to answer than Robert did before this year. I wouldn't bank on it, but 2020 is in the cards for Vaughn I believe.

I'll take Aroldis Chapman being a bad trade that worked out okay to my grave.
  9. Nah he just lost the command that made him so good

I will say calling someone up opening day is always a mistake. Alonso's probably not a big deal being on the older side though.

Kiley invoked Lew Brinson when justifying their 55 for Robert. That’s a yuck from me dawg.
  12. Mike Trout is literally untradable, it's impossible to match his value without completely gutting your own roster.
  13. I think you're underrating just how good of a hitter Rendon is here
  14. mqr replied to Bananarchy's topic in Pale Hose Talk
It's really not worth discussing anymore, he ain't coming up. It is what it is.
  15. Fangraphs have never made any sense at all to me. Pretty sure they had Burdi in the 70s at some point.

It's been repeated just as many times that it's not just about those 15 games.
  17. There's also a ton of teams in Limbo though, you could say even the Sox are pretty much there.

Has anyone genuinely argued number 3 because that’s...something
  19. Jordan Guerrero released for Schryver. Remember when people were pissed he didn't get protected?
  20. mqr replied to Bananarchy's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I'd call 8-1 that cutoff. That being said, it's next April
  21. He's an interesting case of narrative vs production

Acuna wasn't early, I thought? Wasn't he the one who needed to straighten his cap or some stupidness
  23. Harvey was TOS wasn’t he?
  24. I'd probably send him down to AAA for a couple weeks just to make sure everything is A1, and use Rodon/Dunning coming back/up as a way to stretch to a six man rotation and limit all of them.
