Leury's a lot more expensive and only under control for a year, you'd have Kemp for 4 (maybe 5, I don't trust my math). They're otherwise pretty similar in their usefulness imo

That's fine, I'm not looking for a starter, Kemp is a better utility option moving forward than anyone on this roster.

A 23 point gap in OPS+ is pretty significant.

He had an OPS+ of 107 in 300 ABs last year and a 92 this year. The guys you named couldn't do that in their dreams. He takes walks better than anyone on this team. He plays both the infield and the outfield well enough and with speed. None of the guys you listed can do that. Remember when yolmer had that half decent year in 2017, and we all said that guy would be useful on a contenders bench? That's what Kemp is.

He’s way more useful than every single one of those guys.

He's never had more than 300 AB's. He's a significantly better hitter than Sanchez at the moment.
