Don’t think you’d be wrong to say either. Both guys have best player in baseball type ceilings.

They’re a decent team that’s about it

That’s probably enough value, but I imagine someone would be willing to go more.

There absolutely no reason to be doing this right now.

Every pitcher in baseball has games like that. Chill out. He was absolutely cruising and lost the plot. It happens.

Pitchers aren’t allowed to have bad games you fool

Why Is he still in the game
-
He was trying to force him to throw to first. It was not a sacrifice.

What is Bryant doing playing right?

Maybe a little boring but mostly fine

Addison Russell being an absolute bum makes this mini implosion for the cubs so much sweeter

He can keep the seat warm until Giolio's career is over.

Plenty of people would argue AAA is an unnecessary step.

He'll probably be able to keep the infield honest, I'm more concerned with the outfield. Regardless, would still like to see him against guys who are less inclined to be wild. That's a thing he could probably learn at the Major League lever, and I wouldn't be opposed to that, but the poster asked for what benefit there could be.
-
Yup they could have done what they’ve done without supplementing with huge deals at all.
-
Shouldn't need any of that to tell me that a guy who as yet to hit the ball out of the infield in 60 PA's is really really bad.
-
His bat to ball skills are so good that it can cause some issues with getting on base if he's not getting hits. MLB teams are going to able to shift the hell out of him so I would like to see him go to Charlotte and maintain the walk rate he has right now in Birmingham. That being said, I think he'd be at least as good as yolmer right this second.
