Mariano Rivera is a no doubt hall of famer the way that Devin Hester should be. He was the absolute best ever at what he did, but that doesn't make him as valuable as Barry Bonds/Tom Brady. I think what you're really arguing against is how much WAR should be factored into HOF discussions. One lone reliever truly is not that valuable.

They wouldn't be calling it a sprain if there were fears about his Achilles. He's also walking around in a boot, I'm not totally sure, but I don't think that would happen with a ruptured Achilles. I'm also pretty sure you have to be the worlds worst doctor to mistake an Achilles for a sprain.

I was sitting in center field and my buddy and I were trying to get Danks to toss us the ball he was playing long toss with. We were like 13-14 at the time. He either couldn’t hear us or was ignoring us until my friend yelled Mr Danks at him. He cracked up and came and signed the ball and had a little chat with us.
