I'd be interested to know if Organizational health is actually noticeably different, or if we are just paying more attention to it now.

Not necessarily, could be any number of things.

I'd be surprised if we ever seen him in black and white again
  4. If he has TJ I'm cutting my loses now tbh. I'm not paying him in 2020 to keep him around so we can see if maybe he could pitch when it should absolutely be go time for the team.

It seems to me that the simple change would be to tweak that huge leg kick, which is probably sapping what strength he does have. He doesn't need to hit for power, but every time I see him, he's hitting the ball with absolutely zero authority and that needs to change.
  6. I think this is absolutely what is going to happen
  7. You didn't say that ? But yeah, he's not worth a very interesting prospect, so I'd rather hold him and make at least some effort to be competitive in 2020 than trade him for Kodi Medeiros or Ryan Cordell. If you can get someone like Miguel Amaya+ off the Cubs hands, I'd be willing to reconsider my position.
  8. Kahnle mostly netted them Rutherford, not Robertson. It was obviously some aggregate of Robertson, Kahnle, Frazier but the vast majority of the value was in the young controllable fireballer. I'd make that trade too, but the chances of getting a > Top 50 guy for Colome are sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim so I'd rather hang on to him for next year than trade him just to trade him.
  9. It is nothing one none of it is long term money. They didn’t give Machado the extra 50 million because Jerry wouldn’t commit that to one guy not because they signed Alonso and Jay
  10. I honestly feel p good about next year. They’re playing well enough to snap the FO into go time mode one would hope.
  11. Crazy giolito could rebuild his entire delivery and become successful under the worst pitching coach in baseball
  12. Rain into the fence back first. I would guess he’s probably fine. He stayed on the field and finished the inning.
  13. There’s going to be official word in Rodon this week.
  14. Anderson totally wanted to throw his bat again and realized it was the wrong dugout also that was a missile
  15. Playing both your catchers is really dumb. Ricky’s bad, but let’s stop making up reasons he’s bad, there’s no need
  16. He’s another example of a starter being bad at pitching
  17. Fuck I thought Stoney called that one off the bat
  18. Well at least we know covey still blows

Or look at the brewers, sometimes zero elite pitchers is enough, plenty of ways to skin a cat
  20. What difference does it make? Hahn can't draft either.

He's been ugly for like a week and half. Games 17-27 he had an .800 OPS.
  22. mqr replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If that is what his slumps look like, it's not a bad thing
  23. I thought I'd check the box score and it'd be 6-0. Chilllllllllll out
  24. Also the lineup on the whol has been above average anyway
