If Abreu was aware of the guy in front of him, he would not have passed him. Something that should be done 100% of the time. Not 90% of the time, or 99% percent of the time. Literally, every ball hit from now until the end of time.

The only thing that stinks about this, and it is a very minor almost meaningless gripe, is that it would have been nice to see the Sox be smart enough to cut ties with dead money. Obviously, it's good that they were smart enough to not hand out dead money in this case, but it was reassuring that they cut him when I thought they still owed him.
