As bad as Mune and Colson have been, one or both of them will heat up at some point. Running off 8 out of 10 somewhere soon would certainly ease tension and I do think they are bound for a hot spell at some point.....even with the starting pitching as thin as it is.

I agree but we have nobody else to pitch. Urquidy needed to eat some innings tonight and failed. Having only 3 reliable starting pitchers is not sustainable and it puts additional strain on them for each start. The margin of error is razor thin when Kay, Burke and Castillo start because winning games with starting pitchering alleviates stress on bullpen games. Its a really horrible model that needs to be fixed if theyre gonna create any distance and ever win 5 in a row. And yes the offense waking up would certainly help too.

Love bringing in a dude who struggles to throw strikes with the bases mostly clogged. Should work out fine.

Score some runs. Call up somebody to start the game. Whatever the outcome, the abuse of the bullpen and reluctance to bring up ANYBODY to help them out is just negligent at this point. Thorp, Smith l, even Schultz. This 3 starters and 2 bp games is unsustainable
