There is zero reason to give Alonso at bats at this point. The first 2 weeks of the season he was walking a ton and had a couple homers. Since then he has been a pit. Probably doesn't help Ricky just won't stop batting him 4th.

I'd still like a few more starts out of him before they call him up. He hasn't been exactly dominating and has had command issues.

I'd be very happy with another top 10 pick. Next class seems to have a lot of pitching as well.

FG had him there too, and still regarded him as a top prospect after the trade. People on here think he was a nothing at the time which couldn't be further from the truth.
