Continue finding something to b**** about. That's how some on this forum work, because they will never enjoy what we have going right now. The team is not perfect but they are very, very good The front office is flawed at times but I'm glad they are patient with some of their moves and not like some on here who want moves for the sake of move. I'm getting ready to enjoy the hell out of this team and season BUT you carry on.........

If he is truly hurt then maybe we can back off the dick ripping at the white sox for not signing him.

If the Sox are not getting what they want in return then hang onto him. There will be a team who will panic because their closer will implode at the start of the season....... Have to be smart here. I also don't think Kimbrel will be as bad as he was for us last season. His track record is too good.

Can someone who understands the arbitration process please explain to me why the white sox would do this to one of their best players for $50K??? This makes no friking sense and usually not like this team.

I would look for a Kimbrel trade to Dodgers with Jansen signing with Braves

Kris Bryant has not signed Michael Conforto has not signed Nick C has not signed I'm going to hold out hope for a big bat in RF. I might be in the minority but I like Josh Harrison. Guys like him are pests and you need a few of those come playoff time and during the season. This team, at times, last year was a bit laid back (outside of TA)......Harrison may help with that.

I would have no problem with this because someone is going to get desperate for a closer and you trade him and get as much as you can. The trade does not have to be right now....

Sure.......good players deserve the contracts they get. Sometimes overpaying means the years that are added Sometime overpaying means paying for years and money to certain guys that will make your finances strapped because you will have your own guys you will need to pay as their time comes Sometimes overpaying means that your needs are not worth the contract because you already have a pretty damn good team.............because you may be able to get someone at a better cost who fits your team and where you are better.

So much angst here about not signing FA's. I don't know if you all are seeing it but many teams (Mets, Rangers, others) are overpaying for guys. I have no problem with us sitting back and not overpaying, because we don't have the holes that other teams have. As much as we don't want to believe it we truly only have holes in 2 everyday positions (2B, RF). sure we need the following also: RP- But may have addressed with Graveman C- There will be back up catchers, not need to rush and overpay SP- You have Giolitto, Lynn, Cease, Kopech, Kuechel (fwiw).............would love to have a another top tier guy but that can be done through trade before and during season. BTW- Last I checked Rodon hasn't signed anywhere YET Our needs are not drastic. I want this team to spend money but not stupidly...............I want us to be contender for a long time and not be handicapped by dumb contracts. BUT...........continue with your angst and bemoaning ................
