  1. Good. It's decision time on him. Let him work out of the bullpen the rest of the season. If he shows he can be part of the future, great. If not, he gets released in the off season (or sooner). There is no reason for him to still be in the minors.
  2. He wasn't using his lower half. He just flicked a couple weak gb's to the right side. He wasn't trying to drive the ball which isn't like Tim.
  3. I watched a couple of Tim's AB's sunday and he did not look good. No one wants Tim back more than I do but I want him 100% healthy and ready to go and not because the team is a lifeless sack of crap without him.
  4. That's not true. The most important event of the scouting season is next week.
  5. and finding quality players in the draft.
  6. I think the order is selected at the GM meetings in November so it would be very difficult to trade for one of those picks now because they won't know if the pick will be in comp round A (after the first round or comp round B (after the 2nd round).
  7. Eh. Just look at the stat line. It tells you everything you need to know.
  8. Stoney went on an anti-Madrigal rant.
  9. These trade rumors sound like the clickbait Jed Hoyer was referring to.
  10. New White Sox AZL home run record.
  11. This is as close as this dumbass organization gets to firing someone. They'll move his desk next to Milton in the storage room and as soon as everyone forgets about him he'll be shown the door. His reign of terror is finally over.
  12. If nothing else Madrigal will have someone to keep him company at the amusement park when the rest of the team goes on a roller coaster.
  13. The Sox passed on Jarred Kelenic and the Mets traded him. I'd call it a push.
  14. If they trade for a RF'er get a freakin dude. Trade for Conforto then sign him to an extension.
  15. You want another rebuilding teams 4th best outfielder going into a season where the Sox are supposed to be competitive. Hard pass
  16. Why would a rebuilding(ish) Rangers team be willing to trade a 24 yr old uber taleneted outfielder?
  17. They had two assistant scouting directors this year. Well that's weird. I wonder why they needed two guys to do one job. Hmmmmm
  18. That may be true if you're the Yankees or Dodgers and always picking in the back of the draft but if you have a top pick you have to try to hit a home run every single time.
  19. Glad I don't have a subscription. I have a feeling it would make me throw up.
  20. He's there. Hopefully he gets "officailly" named scouting director.
  21. Because it was different from "his" other drafts? I wonder why........
  22. They promoted him to get him the hell out of the scouting department. They're too chicken shit to get him out of the building because they're more worried about public perception than they are about getting it right. It's a joke.
