  1. Here here. I wouldn’t mind seeing the tandem of McCann and Collins take over now and in the future.
  2. No, but his point was pretty obvious regardless. You just love the semantics game.
  3. Will do. Thanks.
  4. Agreed. Perfect time to cut Hahn’s $9 million dollar mistake.
  5. Like I said, Hahn makes good trades but he has proven himself to be clueless in free agency.
  6. I guess I just don’t see the free agency strategy changing at all. They have shown that they aren’t going to spend on top free agents. So we will be seeing more signings like this going forward.
  7. Because people still have hope the Sox will actually go after some big names in free agency. I won’t fall for that again. It’s not happening. They will continue to dumpster dive.
  8. That’s fine but doesn’t it make you lose some faith in your GM when it comes to free agency when he decided to give these bums any sort of money?
  9. I said that Hahn thought Santana was worthy of $4.3 million. It’s Santana’s fault he didn’t make that money, not a decision by Hahn’s hand.
  10. I don’t know what’s so funny. Add it to the other money he wasted this past offseason. Herrera ($18M) Alonso ($9M) Jay ($4M)
  11. Hahn thought Nova was worthy of $9 million and Santana was worthy of $4.3 million. He brought in 4 starters that have all been terrible. A bad move is a bad move. Is it b****ing or are you sugarcoating Hahn’s shortcomings?
  12. You get to shit on Abreu but get upset if anyone questions the rebuild? How does that make any sense?
  13. His point was that more years of cheap control is better.
  14. The rebuild has been good but the same GM acquired these guys as starter solutions. Pretty awful. Nova Santana Banuelos Despaigne
  15. Not really.
  16. He’s under control for one more season but how much faith does anyone have in him repeating this year?
  17. Jon Jay has missed all of the Sox games so far this season and Hahn gave him $4 million guaranteed. Whether Avi hits his incentives or not, he was light years better of a free agent signing than Jon Jay.
  18. Hahn blew this one, no doubts about it. He wasted $4 million on an outfielder that hasn’t even played for the Sox yet. Bringing back Avi for a similar price would have been a much better idea.
  19. Enjoy that 8.39 ERA.
  20. Frazier was pretty damn mediocre as a Sox and Lawrie was a bust. I’d rather have Montas.
  21. Hahn has made three bad trades — trading away Marcus Semien, Frankie Montas, and the worst of all Fernando Tatis Jr. He has done pretty well in trades but he is absolutely awful at free agent signings over his career as Sox GM.
  22. I absolutely love the Drew Waters suggestion. Don’t know how realistic it is though. He’s the Braves’ #5 prospect and rated #59 overall by MLB.
  23. If he can’t hack it as a starter, convert him to closer. This will ease the pain of dealing Colome as well.
  24. Trash game for Lopez but don’t forget the lineup putting up series against trash relievers.
  25. That was an embarrassing performance against the dung reliever named Green. At least Lopez is pitching well.
