Yikes...a fast inning for Lopez. His usual 6th inning problems should be coming up shortly.

Sale with 89 pitches through 5. One more inning should do it I would hope.

84 pitches through 4. Ricky will certainly try to get him through 5 for a chance for the win. Should be short leash time.

Just an observation...Lopez seems to pitch without emotion.

I tend to agree.

I am wondering if Cooper still has the magic touch.

No lead is safe...that's for sure.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
I was referring to mgr. saying one can't have a top flight pen with one guy.

I think it's safe to say the Colome & Bummer qualify.

He should seriously be considered for third.

More Ricky complaints
We are trying to win with 2/3rds of a starting lineup and 1/5th of a starting rotation. That comes to 7 players before we start to nitpick. With presumed quality players in Cease, Robert, Madrigal and return of Kopech, Dunning and Rodon on the horizon...we need a couple quality starters for depth and a right fielder... we will compete next year. Ricky has done reasonably playing with only 2/3rds of a quality team. I'll be patient with Ricky until he fails to deliver with a complete team.

Try winning a WS without a top flight pen. Can't be done.

Umpires lately
Electronic strike zone is inevitable. Every team probably feels that their hitters get a bad shake from the umps. If replay exposes umpire errors on safe/out calls and we all accept that as better to get the call right...why would correctly called balls and strikes be any different?

Sox sign Hector Santiago
Fulmer looked better in last nights game. One of the few bright spots to take away from a lackluster game.

A fair and balanced soliloquy about Jose Abreu, by ron
Ricky should drop him in the order until he finds himself. This is Ricky's biggest weakness as a manager IMO. He has no feel for changing the lineup or letting a guy sit for a few days when he looks lost. How long do you watch Abreu chase out of zone crap or bat Alonso cleanup. Just awful.

Anderson leaves game with apparent injury
This team could use some fresh faces. Last few games have become lifeless.

He should have mentioned...also not hitting for crap.

He's a nice little player but a poor fit for this clubs situation. Hope we can get a little something for him at the deadline.

Jay trying to pump some life into this game. It won't be easy.

Jimenez has played a passable left field IMO. I sure don't want him on the bench for National League home games in the playoffs.

Favorite Personal White Sox Player Interaction
We were at Spring Training when Gene Lamont was our manager. After the game my daughter and I asked for his autograph. He signed that days lineup card and posed with her for a picture, Probably chatted with us for 10 minutes. Always wonder why more players and baseball people don't realize the good will they create with just a couple minutes with a kid. I have always been a fan of Lamont and it had nothing to do with his managing.

Anderson leaves game with apparent injury
If we didn't have bad luck...we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Ricky should drop him in the order. I wish our manager would have a little creativity and change a lineup when the current one is stagnant.

I don't like complaining about umps...figuring things even out. Lately...we have been getting screwed.

On a brighter note...Collins has looked decent behind the plate. Note: I know his bat hasn't looked so good.
