Abreu chasing out of the zone pitches is getting chronic. I would drop him in the order to 5th or 6th.

Part of that deal was taking Frazier off our hands for salary relief.

Will there be one team who thinks a quality back end of the pen relief pitcher is what they need to go deep in the playoffs. I think the answer is an obvious yes. If that team was the White Sox what would you be willing to give up. Lots of people on this board would give up whatever it took. As I keep saying...Hahn has always gotten a boat load when he has something good to sell. I have no doubt...we will be well compensated if he decides to trade Colome.

McCann has for sure been one of the best catchers this year. I wish we would reward him with an extension and remove any doubt about his long term future with us. The ASG is a popularity contest and I don't think who gets to start has a thing to do with being best or not.

I would like to see Ricky experiment with Abreu lower in the batting order. He swings at way to many out of zone pitches based on his desire to be the rbi guy. When he is swinging under control he is still a dangerous hitter.

He's gotten a bad rap because of the off season nonsense...in reality he can be a useful player on many teams.

We have no need for Jay in any long term plan but he does make us a better team for the tonight game...if that matters.

My guess...he will bring a major league ready player or will not be traded.

We had Lynn on the ropes in the first and now he completes 7. You have to put good pitchers away in the early innings when you have the chance.

After 6 innings trailing by a single run. Feels a lot worse than that. It's time to beat these guys into submission.

Eloy made that catch in foul territory look nice and easy. I think he's going to be fine. He is making all the routine plays.

So far I think Collins has looked better than advertised behind the plate.

OD start the bottom of the 4th having already given up 66 pitches. He predictably gives up yet another hit. Yeah...Ricky gets the message.
