Umpires lately
Electronic strike zone is inevitable. Every team probably feels that their hitters get a bad shake from the umps. If replay exposes umpire errors on safe/out calls and we all accept that as better to get the call right...why would correctly called balls and strikes be any different?

Sox sign Hector Santiago
Fulmer looked better in last nights game. One of the few bright spots to take away from a lackluster game.

A fair and balanced soliloquy about Jose Abreu, by ron
Ricky should drop him in the order until he finds himself. This is Ricky's biggest weakness as a manager IMO. He has no feel for changing the lineup or letting a guy sit for a few days when he looks lost. How long do you watch Abreu chase out of zone crap or bat Alonso cleanup. Just awful.

Anderson leaves game with apparent injury
This team could use some fresh faces. Last few games have become lifeless.

He should have mentioned...also not hitting for crap.

ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
He's a nice little player but a poor fit for this clubs situation. Hope we can get a little something for him at the deadline.

Jay trying to pump some life into this game. It won't be easy.

Jimenez has played a passable left field IMO. I sure don't want him on the bench for National League home games in the playoffs.

Favorite Personal White Sox Player Interaction
We were at Spring Training when Gene Lamont was our manager. After the game my daughter and I asked for his autograph. He signed that days lineup card and posed with her for a picture, Probably chatted with us for 10 minutes. Always wonder why more players and baseball people don't realize the good will they create with just a couple minutes with a kid. I have always been a fan of Lamont and it had nothing to do with his managing.

If we didn't have bad luck...we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Ricky should drop him in the order. I wish our manager would have a little creativity and change a lineup when the current one is stagnant.

I don't like complaining about umps...figuring things even out. Lately...we have been getting screwed.

On a brighter note...Collins has looked decent behind the plate. Note: I know his bat hasn't looked so good.

Abreu chasing out of the zone pitches is getting chronic. I would drop him in the order to 5th or 6th.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Part of that deal was taking Frazier off our hands for salary relief.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Will there be one team who thinks a quality back end of the pen relief pitcher is what they need to go deep in the playoffs. I think the answer is an obvious yes. If that team was the White Sox what would you be willing to give up. Lots of people on this board would give up whatever it took. As I keep saying...Hahn has always gotten a boat load when he has something good to sell. I have no doubt...we will be well compensated if he decides to trade Colome.

McCann finalist for catcher for ASG
McCann has for sure been one of the best catchers this year. I wish we would reward him with an extension and remove any doubt about his long term future with us. The ASG is a popularity contest and I don't think who gets to start has a thing to do with being best or not.

I would like to see Ricky experiment with Abreu lower in the batting order. He swings at way to many out of zone pitches based on his desire to be the rbi guy. When he is swinging under control he is still a dangerous hitter.

Jon Jay reinstated
He's gotten a bad rap because of the off season nonsense...in reality he can be a useful player on many teams.
-
Jon Jay reinstated
We have no need for Jay in any long term plan but he does make us a better team for the tonight game...if that matters.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
My guess...he will bring a major league ready player or will not be traded.

We need Ozzie right now more than ever
When Ozzie turned his back on the White Sox...I turned my back on Ozzie.

Sox @ Boston, 6:10
This game was unsatisfying.

I think most of us will like the Jay game.

The $$$$ will be spent!
That would work for me.
