  1. spend a lot of time here JMDL
  2. not a year without a trip to see this asshole... slut...
  3. I've had these for 33 years - run with the big dogs
  4. I strolled the whole park last night just because I can... and walked all around the lower deck, checked out a few things I hadn't seen yet this season - new concessions, the fan deck... and then went to the upper deck... Sox security was checking tickets to keep the riff raff from the lower deck... and when i say riff raff, I don't mean the butler in Rocky Horror - there were a lot of cubs hats in the upper deck last night and none of them looked happy as they made ther way to their seats - I was very surprised at the number of cubs hats I saw, far more than usual - at least we kept them from running the field last night -
  5. Frank popped out once last night (3rd) with a walk (1st) and a near home run in the 6th - I don't think Frank is killing us at all. It is a team effort. Hell, if PK gets a hit in the 1st or 3rd, we would have tightened it up -
  6. and reading Baggio's posts I think i am talking about the wrong play! If the play you refer to was the one in the 4th - I was talkiing about a diffeent play, that one I had nop idea on, we were so out of it - thanks for the insight though, I have marked my scorecard with a post game notation - someday 30 years from now my grandson will be on these forums b****ing about that call after reading my old scorecards!
  7. I may be confused onw hich play everyone is talking about - the play in the 4th, batting Olerud, and Boone on 1st? I thought people were complaining about the call in the 2nd - we were so out of the game at that point - the call before that was the gift K of Cameron so they didn't all go against us last night -
  8. no replay at the games - if that was Bloomquist batting in the 2nd, Winn at first, I thought the runner, Winn, looked safe - the guy down the row thought he was out - the friend I was with wanted replay - and I thought Jose did a good job on stopping the ball from going through the infied and I am not usuallly kind to Jose in scoring matters... the other day (and I forget which game but it had to have been on WGN) we got a real gift double play when no one came close to touching 2nd base... maybe that was the make up call maybe but from where I sat it didn't look that close but maybe from different angles it looked different, very, very possible - but then we walked Boone and then Daubach horribly misplayed a single into a triple - so as you say, it made no difference - I don't think we are going too get many calls for a while until we find a way to make it up to the umps for the fans on the field -
  9. which inning, which play? I usually mark my scorecard when I disagree with the ump and I don;'t have anything marked
  10. I didn't think there was a bad call at 2nd yesterday - but I have no doubt a few calls have gone against us because on fans attacking umps - and the Crede missed call was horrendous, no excuse
  11. I missed that - damn on the K on cameron - it was a gift call - at least that is way we called it in the upper deck - and was Cameron pissed off
  12. Cameron wasn't that great with us and not that great for Seattle - but damn does he kill us - weren't both of his big hiots yesterday on 0-2 counts? What the hell were we throwing him? at least Josh Stewart struck him out once...

    May 4th 1970

I am one of the few here alive who remembers that day - but I will forget it - for Billy Schoreder, Alison Krause, Jeff Miller, Sandy Scheuer - you are not forgotten May 4th 1970 links
  14. you can't get the whole baseball experience by sitting at home - win or lose, it is still the best place to be -
  15. hell yeah! Last night's game was no damn good but I had a great time just being at the Cell - I just love being there and sat with a friend from way back and we had a good time even though the game was s*** - walked around the ballpark since I have lower deck priviledges - checked out my All Star game seats - stood on that outfield fan deck for the first time (nice, but who wants to stand for a whole game?) - it is good to be at the ball game - even though we played like s*** I got home feeling more like me than I did when I left - needed a White Sox fix really badly -
  16. so what is the real reason I drive to the Cell?
  17. I always look out for you! and I am sure Rex will be gentle! will you?
  18. no..... no ex cubs.... Levya or Backman, IF we have to make a change, and at the moment I am on the no change side of the fence
  19. you gotta toss rex in for good measures ok.........i want him in there too...... I was gonna toss Rex in there too but I have yet to judge how serious he is - you are my very precious friend and I don't want him just toying with your affections... toying with something else, maybe
  20. well, that wasn't quite wrong but not quite right....
  21. you've been a good girl - you can have all three!
  22. S_x S_x are you buying the vowel "O" or "E"? umm ill take the "o".......noo nooo.. wait a minute ill take the "e"... yeah the "e" thats right.. i would rather have sex than the sox... as long as they continue to suck though i may be able to get both huh.......lol ...... how about Sox and Sex if we put Mags behind door #1, Joe B behind door #2, and Aaron Miles behind door #3? Now what do you choose?
  23. S_x S_x are you buying the vowel "O" or "E"?
  24. Be careful what you wish for. You'd be calling for Bobby Valentine's head in less than 2 years, if not sooner. Bobby Valentine would be the worst possible choice - you thik it would take two seasons for the fans to be screaming for him to get fired? I doubt it would take two months for that chorus to start singing.
