What are you looking forward to this off season
Keep Grady as bench coach. He has history with all these young guys. And bring in an outside, competent manager. Someone on the younger side. Completely restructure our scouting & analytic departments, fire anyone who sucks and modernize it all. Sign 1 decent IF guy, spend the rest on pitching. (with a couple premium bullpen arms) Give Crochet a competitive offer and if he makes a little extra demand, give in to it. No losing deals over peanuts like that Giolito bullshit.

last game thread - Sox @ Tigers, 9/29
All the guys are tearing up on the post game show. I'm not crying you're crying. I hope the new network brings them back. I seriously think we have one of the best pre/post game shows in MLB.

Regardless, dumping drinks on the Ump is some trashy s%*#. They didn't even make the call, New York did.

I watched most of the series, they were booing in the first 2 games too that was unrelated to Ump calls.

I've never seen a team get booed on the last game of the season at home... when they are going to the playoffs.

To be fair the 62 Mets were an expansion team, so I think ours is worse if you factor that in.

Up 5-0 already. If they hold on would be a 5-1, and 8-6 end to season. Some guys have actually looked competent Beni, Sosa come to mind. Brings me from 1/100 hope for the future to 3/100 hope. Jerry and Chris's statements bring it back down to 2/100 though. Also this is completely arbitrary and doesn't change the s%*# show of this season, but if the Sox Win today they would technically have a better winning % than the 62 Mets. 40-120= .250 41-121= .253

My heart agrees with you but my brain disagrees

Just what we need, him getting injured by an extra 1-2 IP of greed to avoid the all time loss record.

I think someone mentioned this at one point, but it's probably due to him being on a limit most of the season. He (like a lot of pitchers) has worse stats in the first couple innings. Next year when he's getting "normal" starts I think ERA+ will improve a lot.- Crochet open to extension...
He said that he would like to stay in recent interviews- 9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game

PAY. THE. MAN.- 9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
Can we just tell all the players next year they are about to set the losing record on opening day? Maybe then we'll have a good season.- 9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
He said during the announcement they would both be back together.- 9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
- Stone not sure he will be back in 25, season "wearing on him"
Unless you are announcing we signed Soto go way with your click bait- 9/25 Sox vs. California Angels 6:40PM - is today the day?
Extras. Battle of the suckiest- 9/25 Sox vs. California Angels 6:40PM - is today the day?
I like this 3b for LAA, he's been flashing leather and a good arm.- Good news after a bad season: Stone and the Sox working on a new deal
Almost like there's a another thread 5 posts down we are discussing this 😂 - Crochet open to extension...
