  1. I've been a huge fan of Steve Stone since he was on ABC back in 80's, and on ESPN in 2004 . he explains the game so well . I didn't like Jason Benetti at first, but now i miss him when he off.
  2. When Moncada get the game winner 2 nights in a row, against one of the best teams in baseball, it really does seem as though the worm has indeed turned . they seem to be really into the game now, where before it appeared as though they were only going through the motions . was August 16th the turning point in the season? . I sure hope so, and I hope it continues . GO SOX!!!
  3. The broadcast crew on FS1 were commenting about how weird it was tht LaRussa suddenly decides to replace Jimenez with Engle, after waiting so long to do it, but this video explains that pretty well . it's also a testament to how far gone LaRussa is, that a fan has to make the call for him.
  4. you just never know . why baseball is a great game
  5. Will the real White Sox .. please stand up?
  6. Luis Robert hurt . there was a time that i would be all upset over this . now i read that and its, "Yea, that figures".
  7. I have always tried to save hatred for anyone trying to harm my family, but damn if Tony LaRussa doesn't come close.
  8. Outside of the collapse of this season, not getting Bryce Harper (my personal favorite player) has been the biggest disappointment for me, in recent Sox history.
  9. We need Sosa in this lineup . a breath of fresh air
  10. Must be a great feeling having outfielders who can really play their position well.
  11. Good luck . Back when i lived in Irving, I remember sitting under that sweltering Texas sun, during day games, when the Sox came to play at the old Arlington Stadium . Like a lot of old guys, I miss some of the old stadiums, but on those days, in the mid to high 90's, it might have been nice.
  12. Yea, heck of a squall line from Canada to Kansas moving through
  13. Yea, i suspect that we win the division . I think that we can quite possibly beat the Blue Jays, Rays, or Mariners . after that it doesn't look so good . unless .. unless they happen to get hot at the right time, and then you just never know.
  14. What's the point in doing anything right now . the Hahn/Williams duo, are waddling through a period of bad luck and total incompetence . I don't see that magically changing . things might change next year, but i highly doubt it . I've totally given up on this team . it seems that, as fans, all we can do, is ride it out, until there is a change at the top.
  15. nice night for Sheets
  16. There is OFFENSE afoot!!
  17. crowd sounds like a euro football match..
  18. It's so weird how they can get guys on base, and whoever comes up next, looks like he's never faced big league pitching before.
  19. Even when they nail it, it's caught . can't buy a break..
