I was shocked when I heard the LaRussa was going to manage again . he retired right after one of the greatest comebacks in history, to win the World Series . a perfect ending, why come back all these years later . Reinsdorf must have told him, that he built a great team that cruised to the post season last year, and this year will triumph, because you, Tony, will be leading them . his ego stroked like that, with his mind full of glory, how could he refuse . who could have known it would be a disaster . well, almost everyone, except J.R. & Tony . Tony LaRussa, just go home.

The Sox appear to be in the situation, where every game now, is like a playoff game . they really cannot afford very many (if any) losses now, if they want to catch, and pass, Cleveland . teams that have to fight like this, to end the year, can have the advantage of being used to playing in high stress . but on the other hand, may also be drained and just collapse' I truly believe that if the Sox can fight their way to the post season, then we won't have any more of that being eliminated in the 1st round stuff.

Trout is simply Amazing . I was watching the game when Ken Griffey Jr hit a home run that made it 8 in a row . Bryce Harper & Ken Griffey Jr, 2 of the best all time.

Reminds me of that Billy Crystal film where he tosses the entire basketball team.

Win the next 3 games . 2 of 3, or better, in Detroit, that sets up a HUGE series against Cleveland.

We have what every baseball fan wants . meaningful games in September, with our team playing well . I have a hard time saying this, but at least while they are playing Cleveland, Go Twins!!
