  1. So this series will be the battle for last place.
  2. For some reason, i'm thinking that they may play well against them.
  3. At what point does it change from, "Hey,this is a good team, they will come out of it and start playing good ball again' to "Maybe it's time to face the fact that this team is severely flawed, and not going to win anything.'
  4. I wouldn't use the word hatred, but i've had a strong dislike for LaRussa going far back to his Oakland days . i really never could stand the guy . when he was hired, i was hoping that there would be a strong bench coach, that he would actually listen to, and take their advice when needed . someone to help him along . i'm just wondering if he might have dementia issues, and believe me, speaking as someone who knows, if that's the case, all his weird decisions then start to make sense . also, if the fans start to boo him, it wouldn't surprise me in the least, if he received an extension . JR is vindictive, if nothing else.
  5. I've disliked LaRussa going way back to his Oakland years, but at least then he was competent . he won't be fired, but i think that he will be the focus of hatred from White Sox fans, all season, unless this thing gets turned around.
  6. The rebuild was more fun..
  7. Go home and start the big battle for last place with KC.
  8. So Goddamn Frustrating...
  9. I really had a good feeling about today . oh well.
  10. 94 on Gio's last pitch.
  11. So, does this mean that Vaughn gets to play everyday.
  12. This was my wish list almost exactly.
  13. Just hoping that this is the low point for the entire season.
  14. I'm just wondering at what point does LaRussa start getting booed at home.
  15. Those Royals teams were exciting teams to watch.
  16. If MLB continues their petty squabbles over money, at some point the fans are going to become indifferent to the sport, and that bigger piece of the pie that they are all fighting over, will no longer be there.
  17. Yea, even though i'm not in the White Sox blackout area, i still have to use a vpn to watch.
  18. I remember seeing your name on WSI . in the past, i used to post quite a bit over there as Harwar, but the last few years have been difficult, with my cognitive abilities fading away . now it's all i can do to try to understand what's happening on the field.
  19. It took me a long time to get over the strike of 94 . i was just getting my daughter into the White Sox and then they cancelled everything and she lost interest . i actually burned all of my White Sox stuff in the backyard . been going to games since the early 60's with my dad, but if there is a walkout during the regular season, then that's it for me . **** them if they do that!!
  20. He's just the kind of guy that i wanted for the White Sox instead of LaRussa.
  21. Scott Merkin just posted that, " La Russa has the desire to continue to manage. " so we have that to look forward to.
  22. now we get to watch the Astros celebrate on our field.
