Haven't heard any spoilers, nor do I want to read any. Interesting how Johnny Sack, even behind bars, will be on. Interesting to see how that will work. I'm jacked. I laugh at all the people who say they have been gone too long and won't watch, than end up getting back into it. I liked last season on how old mobsters were released from jail after serving their time.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 08:53 AM) I agree, I think most of the time the musical numbers seem out of place and kind of goofy. I love Moulin Rogue, . The musical numbers actually tell the story. The vision and the attention to detail in that film is amazing, to actually make it come to life on film is astonishing. My favorite musical was "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and UnCut."
  3. I love college basketball on TV in the afternoon during the week.

Sounds like some workers got caught trying to be funny. I know woman like that at my workplace, where customers are a pest and cause some problems and we mock them when they aren't around, but these people got caught. She has a case for libel or whatever.
  7. Finally. The Clemens love fest at the Houston All Star game made me wanna puke. Go away and let some of the younger pitchers who are up and coming get the coverage.
  8. QUOTE(MarlinFan84 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 07:57 AM) I say this with no shame...I have a man crush on Bryan Mullins So does Rowand44. Can't wait to see the match ups. I think SIU's defense can give some of the top teams in the country fits. Will be fun. SIU was just getting good when I was there and were in the NIT my senior year. I miss going to the SIU Arena for games.
  9. QUOTE(danman31 @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 09:22 PM) Or not- 46-33 GBN. Pretty close and low scoring game. Scheyer held to 10 points but had 6 assists, 4 starters in double figures for GBN including a double double from Zach Kelly. Morrison for Stevenson only had 2. May have been the difference.
  10. Warren rolled over Waukegan, 69-51.
  11. Just 49 guys I will have bragging rights over!
  12. Wow, posted the info and went to work, come home and we already have 25. Not sure if there is a limit. Hope not.
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 11:28 AM) Brian, you can kick him out of the league. Wonder if the commish can override picks. I have a feeling his team will have a few #16's over #1's.

  15. GBN vs. Stevenson on Tuesday is intriguing. Stevenson can come out and shock some people if they are overlooked.

  17. Just letting everyone know that as soon as yahoo allows it on Sunday night, I will be opening up the Soxtalk Bracket League so if you aren't signed up at yahoo yet, do so so you will be ready for next Sunday. Gotta open it up before Sopranos premiere.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 09:10 PM) Hopefully Brian is ok for next week, he's a gutsy kid and I know he'll play but hopefully he's close to 100 percent. Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm guessing 8 or 9 seed for Salukis. Yippy Ki Yi Yay!!!

Keep Charlize Theron, Salma Hayek, and Keira Knightley off the screen. They are just hideous to look at.

Crash is the only movie nominated for best picture that I got to see. I usually can watch the entire show. There is a lot of stuff they could get rid of, like performing all the Best Song noms.

  22. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 03:06 PM) Ok, so I missed part of this game early in the second half. Enberg has said twice that SIU took over when O'Bryant was sitting on the bench with 3 fouls. My question is, why in the hell would a team's dominant player be sitting on the bench in the second half with three fouls? Why would you allow a team to go on an extended run with the player who has scored half your team's points sit on the bench with three, NOT FOUR, fouls in the second half??? I was thinking the same thing. He got his 3rd fould with 12 mins left and went to the bench. That was when the big run happened and SIU went up double digits. Last 3 years, we win the MVC regular season and fail in the tourney. Good to see them come through when the had to. Wish we had a go to scorer. Shaw is a good shooter but is tentative. Tatum is too streaky and out of control sometimes.
  23. Guess what video we will be seeing for the rest of the season?
