  1. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 12:12 PM) I love Frank but he's lost touch with reality. No one is in their prime at 37, except for Bonds and that's due to steroids. Frank brings up Bonds because he's the only example he could possibly use. No roidless player is in their prime at 37, especially not after numerous injuries like Frank has had. So Frank should come out and say he doesn't think he is any good and is injury prone? Gimme a break.

    My local theatre in Gurnee is only $6 but that is matinee. i don't go at nights anymore.
  4. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Feb 25, 2006 -> 03:48 PM) It was nice to see Elmore blatantly angry over the Duke bias at the end, especially with Mike Patrick in stunned silence beside him. It was like Len had insulted Patrick's God and it just took him totally by suprise. I thought it was pretty funny Redick getting the player of the game over Shelden Williams as well. As if ACC POY, NPOY, and all the spotlight for his amazing 13-14 point performance weren't enough. For those of us who didn't see it, what did he say?
  5. Anyone know who won tonight vs. Glenbrook North and South? I assume North. Just curious.
  6. Refs protecting Chauncey Billups. Awful.

    QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) They're both real good movies. 2>1, but both rule.
  9. Anyone else's Bulls game audio a tad jumpy?

    QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 12:26 PM) Did you read at the link Brian...? From the official site.. "You may think you’re looking at a black and white photo. Look closely, Spider-Man wears a black suit in Spider-Man 3. Tobey Maguire returns as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3. In Theaters 5/4/07" I never read fine print. That is why I'm in so much trouble all the time.

    QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 04:38 PM) Wow, thx man. The previews look really cool, which usually means it sux. I'll go see it now that you've recomended it and if it sux you'll just have to pay me $9.50. If I wasn;t so poor, I'd take you up on that. Some cool effects, good suspense, and action, and lots of blood but not to the point where it is gratuitous. I'll be getting it on DVD when it comes out.
  12. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 03:55 PM) It's not going to happen next year. Bruce has talked about how he doesn't want to play us until the players he recruited are gone. Not too mention SIU will be better than Illinois next year.

    Went and saw "Running Scared". Just saw some good reviews but didn't know much about it. What a cool flick. Go check it out. Not a fan of Paul Walker by any means but he does a good job and the cinematography is top notch. There is a cool scene at a hockey rink under a black light that looks sweet. I know it is only Feb but this is my fav of the year so far.

    I don't think it is a black Spidey outfit, unless there is something in the storyline that says so. I just think the picture is dark and gray. Maybe setting the mood for 3. I like it though.
  15. No clue where this is in Gurnee.
  16. I saw this on SportsCenter last night. Awesome story and awesome site as the gym erupted with every 3 he hit. Great story.

    QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Feb 23, 2006 -> 09:52 AM) They basically dry up the extra water found in your body (legs, arms, etc.) My grandma was on them because she was inactive and retaining water in her legs. Now I think they are used by people simply to look more skinny by getting rid of that unwanted water that stores up in your fat cells. Same here. My Grandma had to take them every once in awhile.

    QUOTE(bmags @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 11:37 PM) if crash wins i'll be pissed. Back in the day, I would of seen all the best picture nominations but Crash is the only one out of the 5 I have seen and would be satisfied if it won. I liked it alot.
  21. If there is a silver lining, SIU could get to MSG in the NIT.
  22. I thought this was gonna be about Crede stiking out with the bases loaded and 2 outs in a clutch situation.

    QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 03:51 PM) Rowand, everyone knows you can't handle horror movies. You had to close your eyes during certain scenes from Gremlins. When the Gremlins run over the Fuddermans, pure fear!!!
  24. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) Every bracket projection has us as one of the last in or one of hte last out, basically we're squarely on the bubble. The problem is, Evansville win or lose is going to drop our rpi. Basically, we have to win 3 in a row to give ourselves a shot, and 4 in a row will get us in for sure. Just win Arch Madness!!!
