Preseason NFL sucks because it's too long and the dumb media stories on slow news days.

We have semi and finals tonight. We play this jerk traveling team that decided to join our rec league this summer first. They destroyed us a few weeks ago. It's be like uS vs Russia hockey in 1980 if we won, so anticipating an early night.

The Gift was ok. Interesting character twist and odd ending. Also had some redundancy of some scenes. Not the movie that's advertised at all.

I think he meant night and day in terms of quality. Kinda like s1 of AHS was excellent and the other 3 are meh.

SnB nailed it for me as well. In 2003, I was rolling in October with laughter. Today, I just don't care as much. I'll never pull for them but there's more important things in life. My grandpa was a die hard Cubs fan and he died in 95 and never saw a World Series. I'm fortunate enough to have seen my team win one. If the Cubs do, I'll be happy for all the 60 plus year olds. F the townies though if that happens.
