QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 20, 2013 -> 10:57 PM) Great win for the Heads' Didn't need a shot clock operator. If BYU makes tourney, I wouldn't want them near Michigan...or SIU.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 20, 2013 -> 07:42 PM) You see the SIU score from yesterday? Team at least isn't totally incompetent but still can't win games. I don't think we'll finish last in the valley this year though so there's a start I guess Yeah. Not getting blown out but still losing. Fun....

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 20, 2013 -> 06:36 PM) http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketbal..._medium=twitter Iowa State is louder than any ACC venue, I guess Big ISU/BYU game tonight though. Could be wacky high scoring. Not sure if they're getting mins, but BYU has 3 kids that played on the same HS team last year, Lone Peak, who was one of the best in the country.

Dallas Buyers Club was good, but wasn't Wowed by it. McConaughey was solid but maybe I expected more from Leto because of the hype because he wasn't that great. Both actors put themselves through a lot physically and we know the Academy likes that.

QUOTE (onedude @ Nov 18, 2013 -> 08:46 PM) It was a powerful film. I think Chiwetel has it locked up. Fantastic performances all around. Cumberbatch, Dano, and Pitt were all very good in small roles...even Giamatti was excellent. I didn't like Pitt putting himself in that role. It was a small part but crucial and Brad Pitt felt wrong there. Watched the documentary "Blackfish" yesterday. Really good. I'm far from an animal activist, I love my dog, I eat meat, but I'll never go to one of those Sea World shows after watching.

Didn't get 23 from Brady. One more TD, I would e won. Or if Morris ran for 7 more yards. Funky butt loving. I'm done

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Nov 18, 2013 -> 01:47 PM) Another great episode of Homeland. I must be missing something. Outside of Carrie, I don't care about anyone on here now, and with the soapy baby storyline, I'm now annoyed. Hope the home stretch of the season is better.

Not an Illini fan, but Ekey is fun to watch so far. He's been really athletic and active.

Our playoffs were ppd last week and suppose to happen this week, Thurs, and than last games Fri. Weather has other ideas again. If we don't play them this week, I have to drop out on my team because of work stuff, which would suck.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 17, 2013 -> 10:08 PM) Looking like another year without an NCAA appearance for Northwestern. ll That was an absolutely terrible loss tonight. The Collins era not off to a good start. Can't judge him on the season but he has two good recruits coming next year in Vic Law and Lindsey. Was talking to a guy close to hs hoops up here and he compared Lindsey's recruiting, not skill, to Anthony Davis. Nobody heard of him than had a big growth spurt and started opening some eyes. Hope to see him this season.

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 17, 2013 -> 10:39 PM) Against Carolina's d? I'd be surprised. I have him too, but am expecting 12-14 standard scoring. I'm looking at it like I'm playing with house money anyway. Wouldn't have won with Rivers, so I still have a shot with Brady tonight.

QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Nov 17, 2013 -> 07:50 PM) Yeah I thought the Big Ten refs actually worked better for Iowa State's type of play. They were more aggressive and physical than Michigan. Morgan and Horford need to step it up and be more dominant. I get so tired of Morgan's inconsistency. He's a senior and needs to play better. I didn't like some of the non calls but I'm not going to take that away from Iowa State. They shot the ball better and out played Michigan. Doesn't help Michigan going cold in the last 9 minutes with only 3 field goals made and one of them was a gimme with 8 seconds left. Morgan is what he is. When Mitch is in the swing of things, this whole team will be loads better. If he was in shape yesterday, I think Michigan wins. Morgan shouldn't see the floor. Stauskas has become really good all around, but unfortunately, it seems GR3 can be taken out of his game pretty easily. Saw him hanging his head in the 1st half yesterday. Head is right, the game will go a long way for both teams. Michigan's non conference schedule is rough. Still have Duke, Arizona, and probably VCU. Not sure how Stanford an Long Beach St are this year.

Started Brady this week and thank God, because Rivers only got 16 and I would've lost. Just need 23 from Tom tomorrow.

Can't wait for refs to call a foul on Cyclones I hate the ticky tack whistles. Let them play, especially when you're not calling them both ways. Michigan not top 10 now but will be by March.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 07:33 PM) As big as Hibbert is, he is weak as s***, I mean he can't even back down Joakim, whom he's got at least 50lbs on. Probably why he developed his hook.
