    QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 1, 2013 -> 10:42 AM) This season of Mad Men was one of my favorite seasons of any television show ever. The gif would work better with audio. Funny moment. Watching Ray Donovan and kind of bored. 20 mins in. One more episode of True Blood and I may finally quit. I hate but can't stop watching.

    Liked the Dexter start. Hope the lady doesn't turn out to be the killer or is behind it. That would be sort of predictable and lame.

    QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 01:17 PM) Anyone else watch House of Cards on Netflix? I thought it was pretty good. I've still only watched the first episode. I like it but just haven't gotten back to it.

    QUOTE (juddling @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 04:55 PM) Graceland on USA is really growing on me........ I've heard good things but isn't it on USA? I have trouble following what is on that channel. Should set DVR.
  5. I don't disagree with J4L on game threads. I just stop posting and reading them instead of starting a thread and ripping people. Too each their own. The NBA Thread is only good because of you? I don't know if you are serious or just trying to play the heel. You are pretty much the only one that agrees with you in there and that should tell you something. Different opinions for different people. You can alwats block certain people or stay out of certain threads. It's a free country.
  6. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 07:32 PM) Any opinions on Tommy Mister? I don't really keep up on football as much as basketball
  7. Wade Davis threw 69 pitches...in 1 inning
  8. Don't try and protect or anything Tyler. Just watching.
  9. I've always wanted to start a poll. I went with Jake because starters are always needed and is under contract for next year.

    QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 01:58 PM) The Heat was actually really clever and quite funny in many places...definitely worth watching, kind of the opposite of the Wahlberg/Will Ferrell one (The Other Guys), but with a much more biting sense of humor and crassness about it. And Sandra Bullock still is America's sweetheart. Saw previews for a couple of movies that look worth checking out, The Wolf of Wall Street (Scorsese, with DiCaprio and McConaughey) as well as Runner, Runner with Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck. That Runner, Runner trailer looked awful to me. Read Wolf of WallStreet. It's perfect for Scorsese. Can't wait.
  11. Ohio St offers Charles Mathews from St Rita. Kid is legit.

    QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 08:12 AM) Dexter starts again tomorrow Yuuuup. Last season bounced back after two cruddy seasons. Hope they go out big!
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 29, 2013 -> 01:07 AM) Please hit Swisher in the back tomorrow.

  16. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 05:36 PM) I thought Simmons was great last night and all season. He's hilarious. I'm with you. Rivers now accusing him of meeting with the owners to have him fired. Simmons pissed on twitter.

    QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 05:17 PM) White House Down was quite a bit better than Olympus Has Fallen. Perfect summer popcorn movie. Quite a bit of competition this weekend at the box office. WHD has a good chance of finishing 3rd behind The Heat and Monsters University. Roeper, who is usually easy going on everything, even gave it an F.

    QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 03:16 PM) I feel like Howard is trying to push god on me. Obviously it was just 1 episode but there seems to be quite a few idiots in this season. Sounds like some of em are knocking boots already. (It is the 90s still, right?)
  19. Brandon Paul to Minnesota.
  20. I'm curious what people expected from Gillaspie. I mean without him, we'd probably be in last....

    Howard seems like a likable guy.
  22. If Murphy can become a Ryan Anderson type, I'll take it.
  23. Usually bat 8th but we were missing a few guys so got bumped up to 2nd. Lots of pressure not to make outs in front of boppers. Got on base 3 times so I felt good about it.
  24. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 11:10 PM) Spurs, nice. Good fit.
