  1. WTF? I will not exchange my HD feed to hear Hawk
  2. Showing the scoreboard montage makes up for it...a little
  3. Suprised we don't hear about those Toronto guys more. If they were in other markets, they would get more recognition. I'm a fan of Cecil.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 26, 2010 -> 12:48 PM) It's been 2,437 days since Michigan last beat Ohio State. You almost sound like you actually went to school there.

Thought "Invention of Lying" was ok, even though it annoyed me that instead of telling the truth, people were just saying what was on their mind without being asked. Is not saying what is on your mind, telling a lie?

Don Draper not getting what he wants at anything in life is an interesting angle to take.

So I am to assume it is last 1964. They managed to make January Jones slightly unattractive with the mommy hairdo.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 02:57 PM) Indeed! It's going to suck having to actually watch a show in regular definition... Don't see why U-Verse has AMC but not AMC HD

    Mad Men!
  10. QUOTE (T R U @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 02:28 PM) the east would be pretty stacked if Paul goes to Orlando and then next season Carmelo goes to the Knicks.. Than you can become a Knicks fan.
  11. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 03:17 PM) God Fox announcers suck so bad. Edit: Fail. They just put that Paulie has 448 HR. Chris Rose must have pictures of someone to have a job with Fox. He is awful no matter what he does.
  12. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 01:10 PM) For those who have facebook. I wish I had more money!! Pics from ay Cutler Foundation Charity Cruise. http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?a...mp;id=604459688 eenie meenie miney moe Looks like the first episode of the next Bachelor.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 03:08 PM) Hard to defend 3 home runs though. Cardinals bats have really struggled the last two games. As long as they can just win one game this weekend, that's all I'm asking for! 2 of em fine, but Sorianos came after another botched double play that would of ended the inning and now nobody wants to catch an infield pop up that allows a guy to score from 2nd. Bad
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 01:37 PM) Why can't the White Sox ever get to face Jeff Suppan? This Cardinals team better trade for another starting pitcher. Suppan is bad, but his defense is awful today.
  15. As much as I like Heyman on air, if you bring him in, leave him off TV to do the stuff. These "shoot" angles on TV are lame. Like Hogan telling a guy he gave him a chance and he got over. Get Dixie off TV as well.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 22, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) Pavano is on a great run right now. Pavano/Liriano vs Floyd/Danks is a great match-up right now. But right now, despite Jenks struggle right now, we should be up on Minnesota more right now.
  17. Good news to me
  18. QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Jul 22, 2010 -> 05:01 PM) Not arguing this year, but in his career? I think the Pirates will also be right up here in about four-five years when their guys develop. I wouldn't bet on it because you know when those guys get near or to arbitration, they'll be traded off. That is why I hope KW just sends a feeler every once in awhile to Pitt that says, "How is that McCutchen kid feelin?"
  19. Chris Paul, according to Ken Berger of CBS, hopes to have played his last game for the Hornets and has set into motion a plan to be traded by the start of the upcoming season. His teams of choice are said to be the Knicks, Lakers and Magic, and people close to him have said he has played his last game for the Hornets. A trade to the Lakers would be disastrous for Paul's fantasy value, while a move to the Magic is probably not ideal, either. But if Paul could land in New York this fall, he oould have one of the biggest fantasy seasons we've ever seen from a point guard. Paul recently signed with LeBron James' marketing company, LRMR, which also fuels speculation that he will fight his way out of New Orleans, despite having two years left on his contract. Stay tuned. Jul. 21 - 8:22 pm et ----- I would bet money on NY
  20. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 10:30 PM) Saw Jabari Parker and Mike Shaw play yesterday in a game of Simeon vs. De La Salle. Shaw didn't shoot well, but is very athletic, great passer and a big dude. Parker I was amazed has a lot of baby fat on him still, kid is just huge though. Like he is gonna turn that to muscle and be a monster. Also, Simeon is just ridiculous. De La Salle has three front-court starters (Shaw, Foster, Henley) all at 6'7" or bigger and all are high D-1 players, and Simeon road them out of the gym. If they change the rule, Parker will be NBA ready when he is done in high school.
