Official 2008-2009 NBA Thread
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Oct 9, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) Rose looked brutal at the start of the game. It wouldn't surprise me if the Bulls don't even win 35 games this year. 6 turnover in 24 minutes is not good, but that is what pre season if for. Not sure about number of wins. I hope Del Negro doesn't put the ball in Gordon's hands in tight situations like Boylan did last year, but Gordon will help offensively. East is better this year IMO, so I will see after the first handful of real games to see how everyone is used.

I thought the transition from radio to TV would be easy, but Funk made it sound hard. I like Neil and am sure he will get comfortable. He and King just did not sound very well together.

Dating Problems Part 2
He'll find some other 20 year old that will sleep with him in exchange for a Playboy cover. Bridget is the best, anyway.

Talk Chicago Sports
My favorite is Gagetalk.com where you talking about Gage, drinking, getting drunk, throwing up, partying in Cal, and how to have websites crash on you.

The Kenny Mayne piece this morning on Bolt and his NFL tryout was pretty funny.

Obama/McCain Round 2
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 09:02 PM) Interesting Note: CNN is reporting that McCain quickly left the room after the debate, but Obama stuck around for quite a while to talk with voters. That's pretty dumb by McCain. Did he think the cameras were off permenantly?

Seems like a bit of a snub. The one I was referring to was before this. Before they got in Brokaw's way of the teleprompter.

Who Won Debate #2?
I went Obama by a nose, basically because McCain came off condescending to me and I don't like that. McCain needed to stand out and he didn't.

Obama/McCain Round 2
Should be fun tonight. One of the news channels went back to Bush/Clinton in 92 and think that is where Clinton won it. He was much more comfortable and roaming and approached the audience member and made them feel important while Bush was distant and didn't look comfortable.
