Karma's a b****. Thought for sure he was gonna call roughing the kicker which would of been awful.

Hilarious. Any other game, refs stop everything and let the injured player get help off the field, but not for "America's Team." What a joke.

Unfortunately, there are no tenths of a second on the clocks in the NFL. It could of been 6.9 left. Too close to tell. Nothing will come of it.

QUOTE (Wanne @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 03:22 PM) From a time factor...no...you kick it deep. It runs time off the clock. I don't care how good his returns were today. Odds of him taking to the house were not that great....and IT. RUNS. THE. CLOCK OUT!!!!!!!!!!! Granted...you'd think this secondary could cover just ONCE today a deep pass. Mike Brown's time has passed. He's HORRIBLE in coverage anymore. Still...a bad decision to not kick it deep IMO. I can see it both ways. Sh*tty loss. Will take me a few days to get over that.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) Not really (I'm assuming he's good from the tone of the response), but I did hear that Elam was 30-for-30 until that miss this season. I guess you pick your poison, but the poison they chose killed them. He had two huge returns. I was fine with a squib kick, but the squib by Gould wasn't very good though. If that makes sense.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 02:08 PM) Babich is so f***ing bad at his job. How do you sit in a Cover 2 on that play and let them make that pass to get in FG range? Babich played that like they had to throw it in the end zone. What a dumbass.

Can we break into Halas Hall and ditch any run play for Jason McKie? The guy is the worst FB at getting 1 yard when we need it. Not too mention we could easily have run it in off tackle.

If the Bears win, it feels like Brenneman and Billick will start crying.

I think Iam finally a true Hawks fan
I was into the Hawks in high school, and into 2002. Went to a bunch of games that year, including the great playoff loss to St Louis, 5-0. Since then, I just haven't watched much, be it no home games on TV or whatever. Watched most of last nights game and will try to watch tomorrows.

QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 01:07 AM) Michigan may not win another game all year. Looking at their schedule, I don't see another win all year or a game I feel good about.

QUOTE (G&T @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 08:24 PM) Beckett is pitching. I got home in the top of 2nd and saw that TB had 2. Coulda sworn Lester was starting today. Fun to see Beckett get knocked around though.

Did Chip just say that "Upton plays shallowy"? Is that a word? Glad Lester is getting knocked around a bit. Kinda old with him being hailed the next Koufax by some.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 06:16 PM) The picture on WGN looks quite beautiful, by the way. Bright and clear HD broadcast, much better than Comcast SportsNet for sure. Agreed. I don't watch much hockey but looks the best in HD than any other sport.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 08:03 AM) I'm really not liking Earl this year. I'm on the other side. I was worried it would keep running out of ideas but it really doesn't. The big butt thing was a tad over the top, but for the most part, I've been liking it. Friday Night Lights is also off to a good start IMO. Were is Jason Street though?

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Oct 9, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) Rose looked brutal at the start of the game. It wouldn't surprise me if the Bulls don't even win 35 games this year. 6 turnover in 24 minutes is not good, but that is what pre season if for. Not sure about number of wins. I hope Del Negro doesn't put the ball in Gordon's hands in tight situations like Boylan did last year, but Gordon will help offensively. East is better this year IMO, so I will see after the first handful of real games to see how everyone is used.

I thought the transition from radio to TV would be easy, but Funk made it sound hard. I like Neil and am sure he will get comfortable. He and King just did not sound very well together.
