  1. Unfortunately, this is how I pictured the game going since the 2nd inning. We leave tons of guys on base, they get the game tied, and poof.
  2. I had no problem with him starting the inning, but after the lead off double, had to yank him.
  3. 3 ABs for Alexei, 4 pitches.
  4. If our lineup could execute tonight, that solo homer may not of meant as much.
  5. Goes 2-0 to the first 3 hitters.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 08:24 PM) How dare you. Eddings should be in the top 10 of all-time White Sox favorites. That was for the 2-1 pitch to Swish that was outside. I think it worked out ok for us. Ha
  7. I think Swish is seeing the ball pretty well.
  8. Don't be afraid to get into a hitters count, ALexei.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 08:08 PM) I love Doug Eddings. That 2-2 non-call on Thome was a filthy pitch. He should of been rung up.
  10. Jackson living on the edge, time to push him over a bit.
  11. I can almost tell how this game is gonna go, hope I am wrong.
  12. Don't blame Cox for holding Jr, but damn, that throw was off line and he probably would of been safe.
  13. QUOTE (premo @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 07:39 PM) did CQ make that throw home? sorry all ive got is gamecast Yep. Wasn't in the air but he threw it hard enough where it rolled to AJ in plenty of time.
  14. What an athletic play by Danks.
  15. This is Q's first year of actually producing. Hopefully he continues to produce for years and is on next years list.
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 04:50 PM) Haven't heard his name much this offseason, so I am not sure how much impact he'll have this season. It's a new coaching staff so you never know in terms of playing time until the season starts. Not redshirting him was a big mistake in retrospect because four of the top receivers on the team are seniors and it'd be nice to have him back for 2009 and 2010 after all those guys are gone. Another problem for Lewis is the aforementioned Me'co Brown, as well as a true freshman from St. Louis named Tommy Davis, might see some time in the slot this year because they both have great speed. Yeah, didn't he have like 2 catches his freshmen year? I heard he has had a lot of attitude problems as well. We went to my alma mater so I was curious.
  17. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 03:23 PM) I am just going to throw out a name here: Me'co Brown. He's a true freshman running back on NIU from Mississippi, and friends of mine on the football team say he's a dead ringer for Garrett Wolfe when you watch him play in practice and scrimmages. Might be the next great NIU running back, and he's expected to be the punt and kick returner right away, as well as see some time on offense. Is Marcus Lewis gonna ever do anything for the Huskies?
  18. Gaudin looking good.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 04:18 PM) Huh? Do you remember who he even is? Choi never had great value, he straight up stole DLEE, and it was a GREAT move. Choi supposedly had a lot of upside and was touted. Hendry would never have gotten anything for him if he waited another year, hence he sold high on him.
  20. QUOTE (The Critic @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 04:07 PM) I would never boo the Cup, but I'd certainly boo Cheap Shot Chelios. I love the Wings but I can't stomach that tool. You're a Red Wings fan, but it was arrogant and garbage to bring the Stanley Cup, that Detroit won, to Chicago to show it off like we would embrace it.
  21. I was at a Cubs/Sox game a few years ago when Chelios was there with the Stanley Cup and the majority of fans boo'd him and rightfully so since we hate Detroit. Wonder if the boo'd it again today.
