  1. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 06:25 PM) Swisher out with injured leg. What is the story there? Anything real serious? Do we have to be worried? He fouled a ball off his left leg and sort of rolled his ankle.
  2. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 06:13 PM) Why? His 1.123 OPS in the last 7 days just isn't cutting it.
  3. Gavin missing his spots this inning.
  4. If Nicks ankle is sore, just put BA in.
  5. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 06:46 PM) http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/cu...a082508.article Pretty gutsy to say this about one of the most nationwide fan bases in all of sports. Voters. In contrast, he may have gained voters who are Cardinals fans, Brewer fans, etc... If a Cub fan won't vote for Obama based on his fan affiliation, they should have their voter card revoked.
  6. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 06:47 PM) It's so weird that Alexei is the #1 guy you want up in this situation He of the early season "he belongs in AAA" calls EDIT: and yea, RBI. I said it last week, when Alexei makes an easy out, I'm shocked.
  7. What the hell is Hawk ranting about for the past 5 minutes?
  8. Jr with a hard hit single. Give credit to Huff for sacrificing his body on that racket. That guys gotta a family to think about.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) Rivals updated it's 2010 basketball player rankings, and it's a top 150 now instead of just a top 100. Jereme Richmond moved back into the 5 star category as a top 25 player in the land, Crandall Head stayed there, and Meyers Leonard is a solid 4 star prospect easily within the top 100. The very underrated Lenzelle Smith moved into the top 100 as a 4 star prospect ranked #97 in the nation, so Brian will be happy. I am curious to see where Smith ends up going to college. Ha. I'm lucky I get to watch this kid play as much as I do. He is a good kid who gets A's in the class room as well. He isn't the tallest kid on the court but is easily the best rebounder. I heard Indiana maybe the leader (He likes Crean), but don't count out Florida or Kentucky. Lenzelle's Zion Zee Bees will be playing Jereme Richmond's Waukegan Bulldogs in Waukegan in Feb this year. That will be electric.
  10. QUOTE (Benchwarmerjim @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 11:47 PM) that loss was a kick in the nutsacks Should of traded for Beltre.
  11. Carrasco?
  12. Put Alexei in motion and he beats that out.
  13. Cena out of the scramble at Unforgiven. Sounds like his neck is in bad shape.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 09:02 PM) Those are some of the best fastball hitters in baseball. It's hard for me to believe the Orioles have the best anything in baseball.
  15. Joe is not swinging through the ball at all.
  16. Paulie shoulda parked that 2-1 pitch.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 08:15 PM) Great job tonight Richard! Turn this over to our pen. I will not be watching if Dotel comes in.
  18. Richard getting lucky. Hernandez could of crushed his pop up and Millar hits that one hard.
  19. QUOTE (Jake @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 08:08 PM) Was that Josh Fields in the dugout? Didn't see him. I saw Hall talking to Thome.
