  4. QUOTE(El Piervizdyeguchansodnik @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 10:04 PM) That is a confusing smilie. Yah, I have no idea how it got on our list of smilies.
  5. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) What on earth is a WinMx? The idea of "f***ing sick s***" perked your interest, didn't it.
  6. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 05:33 PM) ooook.. sorry buddy.. i just hope you wont be the one to post about my death if god-forbid i die over there That's pretty grim, and I hope I won't have to.
  7. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) LMAO.. One of the people in my office said their friend called Fred Durst and he answered.. said "no, you can not have an effing autograph" and hung up. Supposedly he called back and he then said "no, I will not take you to the Playboy Mansion". Sounds like he's having fun with it. Can't imagine why they just don't change their number's though.. Fred Durst is just not used to getting any attention, he's loving it.
  8. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) im not going to come up in here and say that im smarter than any of you or anything like that, but the thing that keeps getting me is the constant posting of everyday happenings in iraq. Last time i checked this was a war and it is expected that people die unfortunately. it sure would look nice if there was a week where no one died but this war isnt being fought in candyland. But if posting death statistics is your thing, post away. I have put a lot more than death statistics on here. But if you don't actually read what I write you wouldn't know that, and if you're not reading what I write don't judge it.

  10. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) Was anyone able to read the notes..?? I don't think there was anything interesting in there. Just locations and reminders.
  11. QUOTE(Yoda @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 10:54 AM) I've only read 'Fear and Loathing' and that was fantastic. 'The Rum Diarys' is on my list. It's sad news, seemed quite a destructive character from what i've heard. They're making a movie of The Rum Diary now too. Starring Depp, Del Toro, Hartnett and Nolte.
  12. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 11:15 AM) Good asessment, it's the kind of horror movie that horror movies should be...not the bloody, slasher crap. I hope someone remakes it with a real cast and they tighten up the plot. Well there's already going to be a sequel, directed by a different guy. And so far the only for sure cast member coming back is Shawnee Smith(helmet thing girl). http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/saw2.php
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) I thought the woman with the jaw thing was the best. Yup, her name is Shawnee Smith. Here's what I wrote on another message board.
  14. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 08:57 AM) Finally got around to renting 'Saw'. Man, this film had potential and really good ideas, but it was hurt by some really bad acting. The guy who played the Dr. was just awful, everyone else was mediocre. I'm gonna watch it again tonight, there is a glitch or two in the plot somewhere. or three... Really fun movie with really weird or bad acting. Was it just me or did Cary Elwes character become English when he got really mad? And no matter how unrealistic it was I loved the final plot twist, looking forward to the sequel.
  15. Operation River Blitz Launched in Iraq Also much on Sunni involvement in insurgency, election, and forming of new government.
  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 01:37 AM) Whoa. I can see both sides of this issue and agree with certain points made from either perspective. I'm not going to get into the back and forth discussion other than to ask .... If someone has an avatar or signature that is offensive to another, regarldless of why it is offensive, why not just eliminate the offensive item? If a poster finds near nudity offensive, that person can choose not to open that thread. No problem. However, an offensive avatar will be found thoughout Soxtalk. It really all comes down to common courtesy. That's not a difficult concept to grasp, but one that seems to be forgotten all too often in this day and age. But isn't there an option to not see sigs and avatars?
  17. QUOTE(qwerty @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) Sounded like she just woke up. She was like ''eh, hello, who is this''. I was like this is a.j. Then she said she does not know an a.j. I told her i got it from paris *wink* and she was like oh that's cool. Then she asked why i called and i said i called the wrong number on accident. She asked how i know her and said i met her at a party... and so on. She must just be a friend of hers. After hundreds of them one finally answers. Wo0t SCORE!
  18. All you need to know about their DUIs, but I haven't really got anything that solid on their drug use. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/cheney_doc.html
  19. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 12:23 AM) c'mon, exactly HOW MANY Catholic parishes were involved in the child abuse scandals? U.S. Catholic bishops receive 1,092 new sex abuse claims Read the article for much greater details.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 11:42 PM) well why i never have and never will smoke marijuana i dont really hold it against him.. its more the DUI he got when he was in the 40's and than tried to pass it off as he was young..... :banghead From what I've read he was 30.
  21. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) I wasn't a big GWB fan until John Kerry came along..but at least Bush pretended to care about the issues that feel are important. It shouldn't be difficult at all to see it from that perspective. I don't think it's much of a moral thing as an inteligence thing. Many of you don't get it because you're still kids (under 22 is still a kid). Parents don't need to use their mistakes as bargaining chips for their kids to behave. Kids don't need a friend, they need authority and someone to hold them accountable. That's what f-ed up about our society over the last 20 years. Who cares what John Kerry did to get out of Vietnam, Who cares what George Bush did while on the path to discovering himself? I don't see how that has anything to do with morals?
  22. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 10:48 PM) It would be interesting to find out how people that decided to vote for Bush based on Moral Values and the like react to this. Smoking weed has nothing to do with morals, but I understand what you are saying. I will never know why Bush won the election on morals.
  23. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 10:36 PM) I didn't think I would need to use the green. I better edit it. Oops sorry
  24. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) So what? It's not like he drives drunk or snorts coke. Umm I thought I saw someone say on here the other day that he was convicted of a DUI. Nonetheless I don't really give a s*** that he smoked the gange.
