  2. They clearly could have taken any picture of space thrown in a circle and say here's the invinsible galaxy. Interesting though.
  3. Apparently just before the tsunami arrived the water receded pretty rapidly just like in Deep Impact if anyone actually remembers that movie. Those pictures sure are powerful though.
  4. Rebuilding Japan and Germany was all about making money for yourselves further down the line. I haven't heard one of my history teachers say anything about propping up Japan and Germany after WW2 as being a great act of human interest. Japan was the only place left in Southeast asia that could have been setup as a economic friendly to the US. Oh and we didn't go to War cause our country doesn't drop to it's knees in front of Bush and we're not stupid.

  15. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 23, 2005 -> 06:55 AM) Yeah, the Canadian $ is at an all time high as well. It could reduce the amount of imports that the US gets, while increasing exports. While the Canadian dollar is much higher than in recent years(64 cents to now around 80 cents) it is nowhere near an all-time high. In fact, if I'm not mistaken it wasn't too long ago that our dollar was worth more than the US dollar.

  19. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...sile050222.html This is really big news for us as it's been a large debate in our country for the last couple years. Bush is going to be pissed off as he's been pressing us to join for a long time.
