Cheney to Resign, Rice to be bumped up to VP?
QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 11:41 AM) Although I think he was a panzie when he refused to discuss it at the Vice Presidential Debate with Edwards last year. Sheesh, I thought that was his best moment in the debate.

Luskin thinks his client (Rove) will be indicted
Bush probably knew all along So: 1. We just had a two year investigation costing a ton of taxpayer money to find out something that the president knew all along? 2. Bush has kept Rove on staff even though HE KNEW Rove was the leaker. 3. It was June 10 of 2004 that Bush said he'd fire anyone involved in the leak. This was AFTER he already knew that Karl was the leaker, Bush knew that in 2003. So Bush lied when he told the public in June of 2004 that he would fire the leaker because he already knew who the leaker was, and clearly hadn't fire him. http://americablog.blogspot.com/2005/10/bu...-2003-lied.html Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them

Canada joins the US...
Canadians constantly assume that they are more environmentally smart than the United States when it often seems the complete opposite. Sometimes I shake my head that this government has the balls to call themselves liberal. Not sure I totally agree with Balta though. I've been through the rocky mountains many times before on our side of the border and while logging areas are noticeable for the most part it doesn't ruin the land's beauty. very accurate

I Need Help From the Movie Fans
You mean a jidaigeki film? Lots of good information at wikipedia if you hadn't already looked. There's a list of conventions and clichés for this type of movie. I'm not sure however why the Lone Wolf and Cub series came up with the gore because according to wikipedia none of the other movies had really any at all, but it's obviously been a big reason for it's cult status. Anyways you probably knew all of that, hope those links help. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jidaigeki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_Wolf_and_Cub ps I've only actually seen Shogun Assassin

Live Dogs Used As Shark Bait
I doubt that photo is of a live dog being used as shark bait. Is some super shark supposed to get the whole dog in his mouth and get hooked?

Movie Sequels...
QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) Actually, a movie I would like to see a sequel to is From Dusk till Dawn. I loved the cheesy violence in it. Wow I've finally found something I can agree with you on, From Dusk Till Dawn rocks. I think I like it even more than Sin City. Haven't seen the crappy straight to video sequels though.

Domino
Well I can't really recommend this one. I found parts of the movie really entertaining but as a whole it was deeply flawed. The direction may get a little annoying, the story is confusing, uneven and there are too many characters. Mickey Rourke was great again, Knightley was hot and really good in the role but unless you're a big fan of Man on Fire or of Knightley or Rourke's you probably won't enjoy this one all that much.

Bush Teleconference With Soldiers Staged
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 12:47 AM) Earlier today I saw a reporter in a boat in the New Jersey flood. She looked like she was using a paddle, but 2 men came walking by right behind her and the water didn't even come up to their knees as they went by. I thought it was pretty funny. The media also stages things. That was hilarious here's the video http://thepoliticalteen.net/2005/10/14/todayshow/
