  1. I agree on leach... To win in the big ten you have to be a sound tackling team... TT consistently gets pwned when they face anyone with a willingness to play a physical football game... Tiller had a simillar system back at Wyoming, and adapted well because he embraced the defensive side of the game.
  2. I said that on the first page. No backtracking needed.
  3. Michigan is down 21 to GT already... Good thing Iowa was excluded.
  4. IMO, Ozzies "philosophy" was born out of that opening day bullpen meltdown.. He was slow to pull guys throughout most of the year, but he seemed to get the hang of it near the end, with Garland and Contreras... He has a longer leash for some and a shorter for others. It seemed to me like he learned on the job, and a I'm fairly certain that he would learn how long to leave wright in more quickly than he figured others out last year.
  5. you're a troll. Plain and simple... You stir the pot just to watch it turn. Don't come complaining to me about "personal attacks" when the only thing I have seen is comments about your poor spelling and grammar. Which hardly qualify.
  6. As a mod all I can do is edit and offensive post, or close a problem thread... Neither is neccessary here...
  7. wait and see... I don't like having so many pitchers, who we know have high injury risks, locked up in long-term deals. Garcia, Buehrle, Contreras, and Wright all locked up for at least 2 seaons could spell doom for not just one, but 2 years. Wright figured something out in Portland last season. I think there's a chance that he would be able to continue his dominance even without uber-coach Mazzone behind him. His HR numbers from last season, coupled with the Ted's HR park factor, bode well for a pitcher who's going to have to deal with the launching pad. I think he'd be a solid pick-up, but one that features plently of question marks... It would be the signing that KW would be hanging his job on.
  8. looks like a Rotoworld wuote to me
  9. So step 1 in your master plan is to sign Robert Machado?
  10. again, don't let the stats get in the way of a poor argument
  11. That's a huge asset... The Ted is not a big park.... It had a HR park factor of 1.128, or about %13 above average.
  12. That's under the radar...but I don't expect anything until after the Arb deadline... What type of FA is Wright? I can't imagine him being a type A... I know he was being heavily pursued by Seattle.
  13. In their 2.5 years together they totaled a FRAA of 25, or about 8 per year... They were good, but Uribe/harris is better, defensively
  14. Cabrera and vidro combined for a -15 FRAA Castillo and Gonzo combined for 5 FRAA Uribe and Harris combined for 25 FRAA
  15. it was also the only one that I thought even compared, but Gonz isn't as good is Uribe... Harris probably isn't as good as Castillo, but I think if they had another season of work together they would be the best tandem, no doubt.
  16. Uribe/Harris is probably the best DP tandem in baseball... I can't think of a better middle infield off the top of my head.
  17. OK I'll feed the troll... You post your "plan"... I will systematically tear it to shreds.
  18. Hot Dog... I can't believe nobody had said it yet.
  19. i agree w/ Addison... ND messed up... They may never be the same again because of it.
  20. I wear my ring all the time... I've been alive the entire time.
