  1. Just playing around with stuff.... Adding stuff that we could use in Game Threads...
  2. Danny has posted good numbers in his career at Yankee Stadium... in 16IP, he's 1-1 with a 3.94ERA, with 10K and 5BB.
  3. That was great --- He threw one pitch that was 5 feet outside, and 5 feet high -- It was so far outside John Kruk switched seats on the Baseball Tonight set.
  4. Lefty'll find a way to lose it... he always does.
  5. Why haven't we challenged A-rod with a bunt yet???
  6. Saw the title "Guys" on the front page... Thought it was a Beastly post. sec 127... Unless I get invited into a box again.
  7. Cotts is absolutely next in line for a starting spot, expecially if the spot he takes is Schoe's...
  8. Yeah I thought it was a pretty good article... Though I think willie will be stealing more times per PA. around 1 every 7-8 (with ozzie givin' him the perpetual green light)... Those numbers work out like this.... 500/7 = 71 SBA -- 500/8 = 62 75% of 71 = 53 SB -- 70% of 62 = 43 SB My numbers have him stealing between 43 and 53 bags.
  9. This was from a few days ago, but I didn't see it appear here.
  10. Magic # = 160 Detroit's losing, could be 159 before the end of the day.
  11. I've been a big critic of MO at the plate, but this season he has shown me some really nice AB's, even if they didin't produce a hit, They were quality AB's.
  12. I remember him tearing up the D-rays when he was called up last season, but he was facing better hitting in the Minors than the Rays were throwing at him... Just anoter guy who we haven't seen.
  13. He earned some PT today vs. righties, But I still like Aaron out the vs. lefties and for his defence.
  14. Sweeney lines out ot center to end the inning
  15. Bottom 6 intentional walk to Beltran to load the bases with 2 outs... Sweeney up.
  16. Smoltz only threw like 5 pitches -- they must have been FAT
  17. Smoltz is really disappointed that he couldn't blow the save on Maddux's 300th victory.
  18. Pretty much have the entire 85 Bears team-- I was on a soccer team w/ Jared Payton when I was in 5th grade -- Walter never missed a game -- He signed a whole bunch of stuff, and got me a ball signed by the entire 88 team(5th grade for me) I helped work the Brian's Run events, which always attracted former and current Bears players, during HS. So I have a lot of the mid-nineties bears too. Jim Flannigan was the nicest guy. Don't have that many baseball items signed -- But the best is definitely a signed Griffey Rookie card... at the other end of the spectrum, I have a signed Batting Practice HR ball from none other than Bob Scanlon.
