  1. Outside of like Nomar Mazara who had over 2,000 ABs by the time he came here who else? Genuinely asking
  2. In regards to the topic, I like this and the Will Robertson move from a couple weeks ago. These type of moves Rick and Kenny just didn’t know how to make, trading for dudes who fall out of favor of an organization and are young enough to develop. Give your remodeled scouting and player development team a chance to turn them into something and if you can’t you learn from it. I’ll give it to Chris Getz he seems to fully understand how out of touch this organization was before he took over and doing what he can to build the foundation.
  3. Brewers should trade for Robert, Vaughn and Robert would be a lethal combo...
  4. I'd like to think for the teams who are unable to get Alcantara, Cabrera, Joe Ryan, Gore - Houser would be a fall back so it makes sense why there are no rumors yet. He feels like a prime last minute candidate
  5. Saw someone on X bring up the Sox picking up Kimbrel's option to just trade him not long after that, if the Sox are willing to eat some money too, that could be very enticing to a lot of teams if he stays healthy and has a strong 2nd half.
  6. If that was the return for Bader, hold onto Robert, he's so much better than a return like that. Nothing wrong with holding onto a dude who is still only 27 and still has so much upside, albeit risk is involved.
  7. Houser, Lee, Wilson, Booser, Altavilla, Michael A Taylor, Rojas - All can go Tauchman, Martin, Cannon, Burke, Robert if you aren't getting a decent return - hold onto them Sosa - I'm cool either way
  8. Exactly why we should not dump him just to dump him, they still need to nail this trade Vientos, Benge, Aidan Miller, Justin Crawford Eat money, add in another arm but need a high ceiling guy back no matter what
  9. Trade Grant Taylor now
  10. If Padres end up being the only team, I'm out, hold onto him
  11. Cool with me, don’t trade him just to trade him.
  12. I do not think it's out of the realm of possibilities that one of Justin Crawford or Aidan Miller is on the Sox after tomorrow, not getting my hopes up but Robert fills such a big void for them and the Mets
  13. If the Dodgers started an offer with De Paula / Zyhir Hope or Mariners Montes or Tigers said here's Max Clark Later Taylor and I don't think it's unrealistic that the Sox could get any of those guys back for the ceiling and long term control of Grant Taylor
  14. Pretty confident in say Grant Taylor would net a HAUL
  15. Welp so much for Gilbert who just went to the Giants in a package for Trevor Rogers
  16. Crawford or Aidan Miller for me nobody else from the Phillies. Vientos, or two of Benge, Reimer, Clifford and Gilbert for the Mets I'm shooting for the moon, I am reluctant to give up a talent like Robert because there are still so many flashes I know I'm in the minority but still just how I feel
  17. I'd be cool with that too lol, I just don't want to lose him for scraps which I consider Angel Acuna, or the Phillies like 10-20 ranked prospects Getz needs to get value for his talent still, I get their sentiment of looking foolish if they simply give him away
  18. Probably in the minority here but let him play today, everybody but 9 teams play tomorrow (Rays-Yankees, Reds-Braves, Rangers-M's) All but the Reds I could see going after him, make it known nobody is getting close to what you're asking for in return for him. More so what I'm trying to say is if the return isn't great hold onto him and pay him to hopefully have a better year next year.
  19. He’s always had command issues before getting into the White Sox system, he’s a work in progress and I feel much better with Bannister guiding him than previous pitching instructors. It just stings more because Griffin and Weatherholt have had great years.
  20. Would anyone be upset if they held onto Robert and pick up his option as opposed to trading him for a garbage return?
  21. Some of Hagen's numbers are wild, I wouldn't call him a disappointment at all, yeah Konnor Griffin or Weatherholt would have been better in hindsight but they did just fine with Hagen and ok then take off Montgomery and they still have two top 100 prospects from that class while Antonacci keeps hitting
  22. They need bats any way they can find them, I'm very cool with them having a bunch of bats in the infield and using some of them to acquire a big bat down the road, we've complained so much about lack of depth, load up on it wherever you can and use that to get pieces
  23. Hagen Smith, Bonemer, Antonacci, I'm willing to add Braeden Montgomery to it also Sucks McClain and Sauke have been hurt - could've seen them making an impact They did just fine if you ask me.
