No excuses Non juiced, juiced balls. You need to get better coaches, a manager and maybe a better trainer. All these groin pulls, hamstrings etc. is poor preparing in spring training. Isn’t the trainer supposed to have a plan to get these guys in shape? Also I have also blame the players for their off season conditioning. Regardless of the shortened spring training, come to camp in better shape. We need the baseball version of Phil Jackson and replace TLR.

what I really don't want to see is desperate trade made. this division is still weak and Minnesota will fade. When the Sox are 100%, they will start steam rolling hopefully

As I said in my previous posts: Burger 3B, Garcia SS (Switch Hitter) Moncada moves to 2B (Switch Hitter) Grandahl C/DH ( Switch Hitter) TLR would have 3 Switch hitters in the lineup to combat teams throwing all righties against the Sox and when Grandahl is the DH, McGuire catches and tht's another lefty bat. Grandahl should DH only against righties. McGuire should sit with a lefty on the mound

Until Anderson comes back: Burger at 3rd Harrison or Garcia at short or second. Interchangeable. Moncada should play second because he ca switch hit. A Garcia at SS AND Moncada at second gives you 2 switch hitters and Harrison on the bench where he belongs. Moncada has got to be a team player and suck it up and play second. That’s where he’s needed.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. This team has a lot of short comings for sure, but if you’re out there saying it’s the end of the world if they lose this game your crazy. Missing 3 starters, a starting pitcher.

For all you gamblers out there, this game means nothing to Cubs but pride. Burning out there bullpen and doubleheader tomorrow. Just saying.

Agree. JR doesn’t have the balls to fire TLR. HE fired Doug Collins, but TLR CAN STAY. TLR will not get us from point be to point A. Who’s out there to manage anyway? I’m so distraught I can’t even think who’d replace TLR at this time.

This is the Cubs World Series. Don’t get me wrong, we still suck. But these 2 wins mean a lot more to the Cubs than us. We still suck though.

Whoever said earlier Jose is toast, could be right. He looks terrible. Look at that last swing. Unless things change quickly, I can see benching Abreu, maybe he needs a week off and then he comes back strong!! We’ve all seen the happened to players, they can fall off and show there age in 1 Season to the next. Lots of disappointments this year, not just Abreu, Grandl, Moncada, etc.

As I said earlier, he has to play. Rookie mistake on the ground ball that allowed the run. Move Moncada to second, Harrison to Short while Anderson rehabs.
