Ahh, if you want to talk about good frozen grease delivery devices... I recomment totino's pizza rolls. Sort of a mini, wanna-be pizza puff but good enough in a pinch.

Well s***, that's a good idea. Maybe this can be a general rambling thread for people to just say stuff. It shouldn't really be for political stuuf or anything that will make a big arguement. Edit Topic function, here I go. That's good because with war and the whitesox losing I get pretty wound up sometimes. I could use to just ramble a bit about nothing in particular. Kind of therapeutic in a way. I suppose it would be a good idea to avoid other heady and controversial topics like religion, manos vs klayton, and Taco Bell. Although the chicken quesadilla is really good and doesn't have any tomatoes in it so I'd be interested to know if that is ok. While I'm on the topic of food, I'd like to pontificate on one of my favorites: the pizza puff. Now, like anything else, the quality of pizza puffs vary depending on who makes them. But when done right the pizza puff is one of the most delectable grease delivery devices ever invented. I'm not up on pizza puff manufacturers or distributors but I have generally found that the finer street corner establishments that carry Vienna Beef ( ) hotdogs generally carry the better pizza puffs. Fresh out of the fryer these treats have an outer crust that is both crispy and greasy on the outside, slightly doughy on the inside. Wrapped inside the crust is a spicy mixture of beef and tomato sauce that slowly oozes out after the second bite. You know you have had a good pizza puff when you go to throw away the paper it was wrapped in and notice is that it is nearly see-through from the grease.

Is this thread just for you or is anyone allowed to ramble?

Clearly Sen. Stevens is an imbecile.

Yes I am serious (not about the selling part). Very simply, I don't believe that it is the governments job to tell a person what to do or not to do as long as that person isn't harming anyone else. What's more, the resources spent to keep people from doing such things could be used in much better ways IMO.

I advocate the legalization of pot and I don't smoke it Sell it maybe but never smoke it

They purposefully don't claim to be unbiased. That is the point, they won't feed you one side of the story and yet claim to be unbiased. Rather they try to present both sides. I'm not about to get into an argument over whether or not they succeed.
-
Is it possible to not have an opinion? I'd much rather know where a journalist is coming from than have them pretend they are "unbiased".
-
Too bad. I was enjoying it

You are painting with the broadest brush I've ever seen. There is a HUGE range of philosphy represented there. Almost everyone can find someone in that list they agree with or admire. It means nothing.

End it. Are you affiliated with TheInsiders in any way? -

I have that feeling too. I didn't want to be the first to say it. -
The Sox can't wait that long. They will have to fire him early if things to turn around. Not jumping off or anything. I know the talent is there and this team will win. I also think if they start 3-10 we can easily come back, but more importantly he would get fired. It won't happen. JM will not get fired that early in the season IMO.

Very much so. I'd really rather keep this board if at all possible. I know you guys are doing what you can.

Why are there links to the Cubs and Mets pages directly under the MLB menu at the top and not to any other team? Edit: not b****ing, just wondering

This is regular season of course. Jon will go undefeated in the post season and will be the winner of the final game of the WS.
-
30 wins this year including 25 in a row... starting tomorrow.
-
Hard to say. I'd say if we are out of the race a lot sooner than we should be then he will get the can.
-
Ok, I'm a little disappointed that we weren't told that we would be merging with another pre-existing board but I can live with that. What I am concerned about is the registration page where it talks about a monthly fee for accessing the site.

Five hot dogs, two polish, 15 churros, and nine Royals.

part of what you say may be right, some of the language in question in part of the everyday language. if i remember that is what got a large group of posters here. are you sure that you don't mod the other board under a different name? My guess is that he's from TheInsiders. -
Funny, last week, Marshall and I were talking about the upcoming baseball season (he is such a Tiger fan) and he felt the same way about you. Mr. Mathers and I could not agree on which was Handel's best opera. My favorite is Serse (also known as Xerxes) but Em chose the usual one, Julius Ceasar (so jejune of him). To make it easier for the rest of you to join in, I will list them all with the librettist and hope we can have a meaningful discussion on this topic. Aci e Galatea (1718, John Gay) Admeto (first performance: Haymarket Theatre, London, 31 gennaio 1727) Agrippina (1708-09, V.Grimani) Alcina (1735, Antonio Marchi) Alessandro (1726 ?, Paolo Antonio Rolli) L’Allegro, il Penseroso e il Moderato (1740, Charles Jennens ) Almira (1705, Feutsking Friedrich Christian, after Giulio Pancieri) Amadigi di Gaula (1715, Nicola Francesco Haym) Ariodante (1735, by composer, after Salvi) Athalia (1733, Racine) Berenice (1737) Esther (1718 - John Arbuthnot and Alexander Pope ) Flavio (1723, Nicola Francesco Haym) Floridante (1721, Rolli, after Silvani) Giustino (1737, N.Beregani) Giulio Cesare in Egitto (1724, Nicola Haym) Hercules (1745, Thomas Broughton) Imeneo (1740, libretto adapted after Stampiglia) Jephta (1752) Judas Maccabaeus (1747, Morell, after Bible) Orlando (1733, G. Braccioli) Ottone (1723, Nicola Francesco Haym) Partenope (1730, Silvio Stampiglio) Poro, re dell'Indie (1731, after Metastasio, same libretto as Hasse, "Cleofide") Radamisto (1720, Nicola Francesco Haym) Riccardo primo, re d'Inghilterra (1720, Rolli, after Briani) Rinaldo (1711, Rossi) Semele (1744, William Congreve) Serse (1738) Tamerlano (1724, Piovene Agostino (adapt. Nicola Francesco Haym) Teseo (1713, Nicola Francesco Haym) Now THAT is how you kill a thread!

STFU! What is with all the posters that come here and think they own the board after a week. It's great to have new people here but it would be nice if they weren't all egomaniacs who think theirs is the only opinion that counted. But my opinion IS the only one that matters! j/k Well your statement regarding posters who come on here and own the place for a week. I was here in the early stages and I will be here in the end. By no means am I trying to argue with anyone on here, because Im glad we have a place as Sox fans that we can go, however I want us to be known as a reputable site especially with the upcoming transition. Thats all. Well anyone who is basing credibility based on posts made in here is a moron. This is a place for people to hang out and talk. I don't need you to tell me how to have a conversation with my friends.
