Right. But we needed a RF last season. That God awful Goodwin cost us a few games. Atlanta traded/acquired 3 outfielders last season and won the World Series. We stood pat stuck with Goodwin and Leury and we did not go too far.

One of the biggest surprises of this season is hit and running/trying to steal with Robert with Abreu at the plate. Robert is 5 for 5 and we have avoided the dreaded Abreu double play ball which hurt us last season. That was my biggest peeve with TLR last season. Kudos to TLR this season for the adjustment.

Leury should be hitting 9th until he gets himself straightened out. Vaughn is a slugger.should not be hitting 9th.

No big surprise. Doubling down on not going for a needed RF at the trade deadline, and spending all those resources on a closer that we did not need. Our FO has its priorities wrong.

Tigers are being very aggressive. Could be tough competition for the Sox in the Central, particularly if we don’t improve.
