Should have won more games with that ERA, but offense is generally anemic.

Benintendi and Robert plus good pitching is bringing me back in. Hope against hope that the Sox don’t disappoint.

Second in the AL in homers behind Ohtani. Pretty soon opponents are going to say don’t let Robert beat us.

Benintendi is the lead off hitter that I was looking for the whole season. Wasted too many opportunities with TA leading off most of the season.

Grifol is bad. We dodged a bullet. It could have been a 3 run homer , it hit the wall. No way thatt the lefty Banks be allowed to pitch to Duvall.

The philosophy looks to me is to swing away early in the counts , and swing for the fences as often as possible. Unfortunately,we don’t have many contact hitters or consistent sluggers. Need to change philosophy to more patience at the plate and some small ball leading to homers with men and not just solo homers. IMO.

You are right. Sox did not really need Grandal. Should have spent that money on a power hitting outfielder Instead. Another Hahn screw up, which he repeated trading for Kimbrel, when we did not need a closer but needed a 2B and a RF instead.

Remilllard is better player than TA now. Better defense. More patient. Can bunt.

Hate to lose another game after hitting four solo homers again.

The White Sox have the worse defensive infield in the majors on the field now. And one of the worse catchers. It’s hard to win close games. A decent 2B would have made the play with 2 outs in the 9 th to win the game but TA did not get in front of the ball.

TA grounds out to SS with RISP. Another walk scores forBoston. Vaughn drops a popup. What else is new.

He is one of the slowest runners in MLB and one of the worst defensive 1B.

Was watching Cubs-Cardinals game from London. Nick Madrigal went 2-4 with one RBI. He is hitting .260 with only 14 strikeouts in 127 AB. Announcers were reminding me that Nick is a very good contact hitter, which we desperately need with all our free swingers. He would have been more useful than Kimbrel-Pollock. Another bad RH move , probably due to his bromances with relief pitchers.
