Who is pitching our second game? Prefer Cease to assure a win and not roll the dice against Bieber on Sunday.

One of the worst games of the year. Flat, listless team. Poor defense, no clutch hitting, no homers, poor starting pitching, etc. no retaliation after no respect from the Guardians hitting Abreu,Eloy. We really got pushed around. A bad start for the series. No sense of urgency.

I am surprised and disappointed that he was not at least brushed back.

No he did not. Not even one pitch inside. Must be another TLR unwritten rule not to retaliate. We had the chance against Rosario, Jose Ramirez and Naylor their best players and nada.

Another TLR matchup obsession that back fires. Engel has been absolutely terrible today. That 2 run double by Naylor was catchable, he took the wrong route. Our D has been horrible tonight. Our guys came out too flat. What did they do all week?

If we lose this game, we need to come back with Cease tomorrow. Can’t afford to lose the DH tomorrow and go into Sunday 0-3 with Cease going against Bieber. We can’t afford to get swept in this series.

Have Eloy hit ahead of Grandal as well. Eloy hit a 100 + ball for a hit in the second that would have scored at least one in the first , instead of the Grandal K that we got instead. Our clutch hitting so far tonight is non existent.

TLR always doubles down on his mistakes. He was criticized by the Apple announcers for not walking Ramirez who also has been a Sox killer and has burnt TLR decisions often.
