Yes, once you expand the ramifications beyond Yoan V Burger, and getting them in the lineup, that affects Vaughn in the way you stated. But I do believe Jake’s bat is the loudest ATM. eventually Yoan has to exit because he makes too much money and doesn’t produce. I wouldn’t mind squeezing him in at second base because he hits like a second baseman. But Jake is definitely the option at third to choose very soon

On this team this year, Burger DH and Yoan playing third makes a lot of sense. Going into the future, Moncada makes too much money to play third base just as a glove. A team can put a cheap glove at third all day long. Jake on a rookie deal at third base makes a lot of sense if he is for real.
