I think this might be the best name available at that position that we could get. We need a pure rental. He's been hot as of late and if Teel comes back, can probably move to a backup catcher. Shouldn't cost very much. Jeffers is also a good option.

So if Teel's injury is serious, we'll have to dip into the trade market. What catchers might be available as a rental?

After Deitmars, Holmes is my second choice. Think he made some really convincing arguments.

His career is one of the strangest in MLB history. Didn't start a single game before being turned into a starting pitcher and was pretty damn good. I'd do it. Would also be a good mentor to Taylor who is trying to follow a similar career trajectory. Think we should target one of Wacha, Holmes, or Deitmars
