Last night we saw Vaughn DH, Burger 3B, Harrison 2B, Engel RF. I think a better lineup is Vaughn RF, Burger DH, Harrison 3B, Mendick 2B.

I think the ump probably gave him a little more leeway than normal because he knew he missed it.

Hitting grounders would be a much more effective strategy if you could throw your bat at the infielder every time.
