  1. chat room anyone?
  2. I'm in the chat room. anybody in there?
  3. Wbat ptcher aside from Halladay who is doing well isn't due for a sharp regression? Consistency isn't exactly something many big leaguers have nowadays. I think Garland deserves credit.
  4. After last year, can you imagine the Vegas odds on that one? It would have been 100,000 to one probably if they did odds on such things.
  5. Sorry Teahan is hurt but glad he's out of the lineup. A steady of diet of Omar is not gonna be good, however. Bring me Nix!
  6. I love the way the Hawks played on the road so far. Hopefully they'll keep their cool and have good spacing on the offensive end. To tel you the truth, the road didn't seem to bother Philly that much. Philly matched us goal for goal in Game One and with one exception of giving up the quick second goal tonight, shortly after the first goal, played well again on the road in Game Two. Nieme had so many good saved tonight; hope he keeps it up on the road. I'd think our other players will be fine again as they've been road dominant so far like you said.
  7. That's just unfair saying he's only been "lucky." Totally unfair. Check some of his lines in the games he's pitched. I guess anytime the NL beats an AL team it's just "luck." Let's see it on the field, White Sox. Beat the s*** out of this inferior league. Sox/Cubs series is deadlocked all time I believe. This year's AL-NL is deadlocked. It's only luck when Garland wins and only bad luck when we lose to an NL team.
  8. Philly was sharp the third period. Philly was all over the ice in the third. Great job by Hawks to get the two goal "cushion." Watched the postgame on comcast. My god, what bad interviews in the interview room. My guess is the reporters get the good stuff in the locker room. The stuff in that interview room was horrifically dull. Any articles written with those comments would be snoozers.
  9. What do you expect him to do in the year 2010? He's checking his facebook and all those nifty "social media" sites like other people do. He said he killed the post off his facebook. These guys are human beings, not machines. GO BLACKHAWKS! Two more.
  10. f***ing tremendous hockey game. Rejoice. Philly played a GREAT third period. We held them off.
  11. Great game. Is the Versus postgame or any postgame show available online? 1:53 to go; hang on hawks.
  12. Our fans have been great tonight again. What energy you can hear on TV.
  13. Nice save Niemi. Thank god. First goal wins this game.
  14. anbyody know if i can get teh great postgame show online? the versus show? I cant get versus where I am. any link would be appreciated.
  15. My god these teams are playing hard! Intense action!
  16. How can you look forward to seeing Omar playing instead of anybody?
  17. How bout I try again: There is no value to the player or the team in sending Beckham down. Ozzie made it clear: If he broods he is sent down. If he keeps his head up and tries to have fun and all that, he stays. Those that want Beckham sent down appear to me, to be people who just want to see him automatically hitting .340 again no matter the level.
  18. Wouldn't that be funny if Beckham was sent down for freaking Lillibridge? Not gonna happen.
  19. Sometimes I think people want Gordon sent down so they simply don't have to deal with his s***ty batting average and struggles. They'll feel better with Gordon out of their hair and not a daily reminder of how s***ty he has been all season. Well that is stupid. Like somebody on here said, many people want a firesale and to play prospects. Think those prospects aren't going to struggle as well? Let Gordon play up here and work it out. Our scouts and baseball people think he's ready. Let him play and let him get better. Sending him down makes absolutely no sense unless he's all depressed and brooding and Ozzie told him that was the only way he'd not play. Like that commercial where the bartender tells the guy he has a purse. Sack up, people. Man up. Let Beckham play in the f***ing big leagues. Sending him down would be asinine. Not everything comes easy. Some players have to work through struggles to make it. Team is going nowhere anyway. Keep him up here.
  20. It's because I think Teahen is just another version of Nix. A utility player. Teahen is no good.
  21. My comment about Viciedo being lazy was meant as sarcasm. I thought in spring trianing Kenny and Oz got mad at him for not running out routine grounders, etc. I could have sworn I read that and they called him out in the media. GO HAWKS!
  22. I know the NL sucks. Everybody says it. But why oh why are NL and AL teams tied after that first weekend of interleague play this year. If the NL is as bad as everybody says, wouldn't the AL just simply dominate head to head competition? I mean win almost every game? The way people talk is it's like the NL is a minor league team versus the Rays every night.
  23. Texas is good. We'll see right off the bat if we can win a home series against a good team. Then lousy Cleveland again? We're going to find out quickly if the Sox indeed are playing better or if that is a myth.
  24. I'd be up for Nix playing a lot more than Teahen.
  25. You and Balta are right, but no way this Sox team could be expected to win more than two in Tampa. No f***ing way. Now lets make some noise in series we are capable of making noise in and maybe we'll talk about Tampa and NY and Minnie series later. Two of four at TB was monumental.
